Got jumped by a BMW

I was having a friendly discussion, I even went so far as to compliment everyone else's car, until you came along and decided to put MY car down. Whose the a$$ NOW, good for you spending all of that money. I choose to put 8 times your investment in opening and maintaining 3 successful companies that, as I stated in my prior post that I could afford an M3 OR C63 no loans needed EU, bt I choose not to spend the money on them at least brand new! and that's MY OWN OPINION, I am not nor ever did push it on any one, instead I actually said to those that have those cars "I AM HAPPY FOR YOU" and I am actively looking for a deal.
What am getting at is you need to lay off the steroid, and there is no need for hostility!
I am a huge BMW fan and have owned several, currently turbocharged e46 M3 and 335I.

These "which car is better...bang for buck" threads are funny...its like the cold war all over again. And we know who came out on top....THE GUYS WITH THE MOST MONEY! So quit saying $$$ don't matter, they do!
This world doesn't go around anymore without $$$, so put it where your mouth is, and step up to a 6-3...I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there that want to run with you.
And if you really want bang for the buck, you should have gone Pontiac G8 or Camaro SS...those things modded for less than your 335i will drag it up and down the strip.
335 is a nice car...it isn't an M3 or a C63, but it is nice!

Bottom line is that a tuned 335i will be very close to a C63. Check out the recent topgunrun.com and you will see that a 135i heavily tuned with meth ran 178mph in the mile.
Other than DadC63 which ran the same, the BMW was faster than the 2 other tuned C63s (168 and172).
The forced induction beemers are easier to tune than our N/A engines and they are a worthy rival.

Yes the N54 is a very good platform no doubt. My 335 was fairly modified and I could run most cars without issue. Just and FYI, that 135 has aftermarket turbos from ASR (appx 5k for the pair). So it is not exactly a typical bolt on car.

Sounds like you died and came back to life. J/K.
You mentioned you wanted FI. If so, you probably want to go theh M3 route as you have several choices competing so pricing will be favorable. At the moment, there doesn't seem to be any plans on doing a FI kit for the 63 motor. There was a Brabus FI'd ML63, but from what I hear/read, there are issues.
