Monte Carlo here I come
My wife bought me a package deal (and herself) to attend the monte carlo grand prix cant wait to see the all new Mercedes GP team with schumi at the helm. Just thought I had to share this. Is anyone else from MBworld going.

You, sir, are a very lucky man. Your wife is a keeper. Tell her next year you want to go to Spa. Until you have seen an F1 car at Spa you dont really know what they can do.

I dont doubt you for a second but there is just something about monte carlo and motorsport that allures me. I have been wanting to go for as long as I can remember but ill be sure to add spa to my "Things to do before i die list"

Oh, I totally agree. Monte Carlo would be spectacular. It is one of the few great F1 tracks that I haven't been to, and to be honest I never went just cause it's so freakin expensive. The ticket and hotel prices are totally insane, like triple the cost of a normal F1 race, which is already not exactly a bargain. That's why its such a great gift from your wife. I'm sure you will have a great time.

Monte Carlo is a car lovers paradise even when the F1 group is not in town. Most weekend nights the parking spaces in front of the casino are populated by 430's, 599's, Bentley GT's, Murcielagos, DB9's, Rolls etc.
Lower profile cars like AMG's, and 911TT's and M5's are parked up the sides.
It's a treat any time of the year but F1 week should be shocking!
Bring your digicam and post pics nightly for your less fortunate friends at MBW!
You'll probably notice MB's with the SAMGF badge on the trunk lid, it's a French AMG society ... at least that's what I've heard.

I had the same awe experience in Monza 2006 when Michael Schumacher wins in his Ferrari for the last time there...the ground was moving, incredible experience, then he announces that he is to retire. To see him back in the greatest motorsport is sureal, cant wait, Monte Carlo would be tonnes of fun, I will just have to settle for the Canadian GP in Montreal in June....where are you staying in Monte Carlo and where are your seats??

You don't dude. Montreal on June 13th. Beautiful track in a beautiful city and one of the easiest events in the world to attend. The subway takes you right to the gates of the track. Let's all go root for Schumacher in his shiny new silver Mercedes.

I attended the Monaco GP in 1990. It is truly an adult Disneyland. The cars, the women, the bars, the cars, the women, the casinos, the cars, the women.......
I would urge anyone that can make the trip to go at least once in your life. Watching Senna carve up the Monte Carlo streets was simply amazing!

We will be staying in Nice then getting a hotel bus taking us there. As for the seats not too sure where we are sitting . My wife said she had a choice for a saturday & sunday pass, both dam expensive so she opted for a better sunday seat so saturday we will be seeing the woman the cars the bars the casinos etc etc . But once I find out Ill def let you all now. Great to hear that the ones that have attented had an excellent time.

This should help. all the info you need for ordering tickets and hotel, BTW, again lots of people from Lnog Island and New York I have met over the years, I have been going to this race for 18yrs, its amazing how many different people you meet from all over the world at this event. Plus, Montreal and all the exotic women are very easy to talk to
