The sticker you found is the one I was thinking of, however that lists body codes. I was looking for the sticker today at work, and I belive it is no longer place on vehicles. So if anyone wants to know for sure, pm me your VIN, and I can send you a PDF of your data card.

funny, Seems like we got two brown boost brothers on this forum one is latina and the other is arab funny.
So i would sum up that the only way your going to know if the car has LSD is if you do a burnout (which will be hard if ur test driving another person's car) and secondly the vin which will be abit of a pain since i have to check the Vin # on every car i look at!!!

What am I missing? I checked with dealer and the badge does not say 471 but not 'sure' if this car has the Performance Package or more importantly LSD.

It looks to have the PP steering wheel. Email and ask if it has the P30 option performance package. If so it has the LSD as it was included as part of P30.
It also has the trunk lip spoiler that is part of he P30 package.

the query with which cars got what..
didnt MB do 2 types of packages? one with the performance mods. so your brakes, LSD, interior trim etc.. and then the other package taking off the derestriction and a trip to the circuit to "learn" how to drive your car..? that are the options i got when ordering...
personally i think the LSD is worth the money.. i have a c63 with no PP and in the snow it is useless.. and a waste of time even thinking about driving it... that said merc did spec my car with "summer tyres" as it says on the datasheet.
anyways to check. as many have said and agreed above is just a quick call to MB to get the data sheet on the car.
