A 2010 C63 AMG P31 Palladium Silver is _mine_!




I took her in for the Service B the dealer this week.
After I picked it up I heard a noise from the left rear at low speeds... a scraping sound once per wheel revolution. Kinda sounded like something was scraping on the disc brake heat shield.
Friday I looked at while my wife drove slowly and couldn't see anything (all 5 lugs were in place when I did this).
This morning I decided I would pull the wheel and see if I could tell what was wrong.
I put the car on the lift and went to free-wheel the wheel to replicated the noise. This is what I saw:

Needless to say the dealer will be coming to pick up the car with a flat bed to make this right.
I consider myself even luckier than normal that I didn't die last night on I-90 doing 70...

I think I would get them to see if they can replace the broken ones before they put it on the flat bed. That wheel can fall off at any time!
Wheel issue was taken care of. Correctly. No harm, no foul. I'm over it.
Took the car in today to get a problem with the MMI fixed. Also had a regular occurrence of "low coolant" that the dealer knew about because I'd noted it before. Happens about every 3000-4000 miles.
Service manager just called. They are worried about it enough that they need to pull the heads.
He's gonna call when it's opened up so I can come down and take pics....
Should be interesting...
