That's why it looks so good...stock offset is way to conservative and way too tucked in....wheels need to be pushed out and that Black Car has done it perfectly
(i have ET30 fronts and ET33 rears on my winters and the fronts are perfectly flush at ET30)
Cheers to "qship5"...definitely my favourite for stance and wheels!

Anyhow, I still don't think that front offset is right. That would be like adding a 19mm front spacer to the stock wheels. It would stick out way past the fender. I just measured myself with calipers.
The rear is doable, but I'd still expect rubbing with a 275-width tire.

Are your winter wheel widths 8.5"/10"? Width and offset determine the "stance".

They are 8.5 and 9.5.....the fronts dont stick out past the fender...they are flush....

Perhaps your definition of "flush" is equitable to my definition of "sticking out too far."

You should post some photos of your winter setup in a separate thread. I'd like to see some pics.

qship5, can you take some additional pics. I'd love to see a shot "front-to-back" to get a better feel for the stance.
This post is a good comparison -> https://mbworld.org/forums/3865127-post1.html
He's running the same wheels. 19x8.5 ET48 with 245/35-19 Front and 19x10.0 ET50 with 275/30-19 Rear. (Yoko AD-08)

The fronts on the black and gold car don't look as good as qships, but the front gold wheel does look pretty flush with the edge of the fender. Definately would love to see more pics of qships car

OK, that doesn't make any sense. That's like running a 21mm spacer on a stock wheel. It's certainly not the offset this car was designed for.

I have pics posted all over the place...do a search....
You are basing your statements on "what you think it might look like in your mind"...my statements are based on fact with the wheels on the car....
As you can even see even in qship5's pics.....his fronts are not sticking out past the fender
21mm is only .89 on an inch...you can easily push the front wheel out that far and not have it go past the fender

The only reason I want to know so bad is that I think qship's car looks fantastic.

Based on those pics, it's safe to say each car is running a similar front offset. When I ordered mine, James@ACGSD mentioned the recommendation from Forgestar for the C63 front was 8.5"/ET45. (+6mm).
qship5, where did you get the ET32 number for the front? If it was a number on the box it was probably the starting offset of the wheel before they shaved off material to reach the proper offset for your car.
BTW, your car looks great! I can't wait to get my F14s.

Does anyone know the weight of these Forgestar F14 wheels? I'm thinking about doing 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears and want to know the different between those and the stock wheels.

Here is the weight of my F14 wheels:
Front 19X8.5: 23 pounds
Back 19X10: 25 pounds
This was done using a human scale, not an high end electronic one so I can't guarantee the accuracy. The wheels do feel very light.
Here is the official weight from modbargains.com:
19x8.5 Approx weight 22.5 lbs
19x10. Approx weight 24.7 lbs (site says 24.1 but I think they mixed up some numbers)
Both wheels are still lighter than the stock 18" (at 23.5/front and 25.0/back).
For 19" that's pretty impressive.
As a comparison the HRE P43 19x10 are 24.6 pounds and 6000$ per set!

Back 19X10: 25 pounds

Just for accuracy, the front OEM wheel is not 23.5lbs. That was a guess from chief63.
Later in the post the OEM wheel weights are clarified @ ~26lbs front/back -> https://mbworld.org/forums/3932559-post36.html

Your car looks AWESOME qship5! I really love those wheels, and the stance. Looks perfect on a black car.
BTW, when I weighed the AMG 19" multispokes, they were right around 29 lbs for front and rear. Too bad they are not lighter

I've also read the manual, how easy is it to change the rebound, damping and height? Do some of these changes require you remove the wheel or lifting the car is fine? It didn't seem that easy!
thanks

I don't know if that's what he meant but I would surely like to know if the installers used the suggested setup from KW (possibly if they did not mention it).

The Installer set the KWs to my requested settings. I have played around with them and determined a "street" setting and a "track" setting. You do not need to remove the wheels to adjust them, but doing so does provide a little more room to reach the bump adjustment. Setting the rebound on the fronts is simple as you can insert the allen wrench into the top of the strut from under the hood at the top of the strut tower. The rears however are impossible to adjust on the car unless you do what I did and drill a small hole in the center of the rear shock tower. There is no hole there from the factory and without one, you would need to remove the rear shock to adjust it. With the hole drilled, I can adjust the rears as easliy as the fronts.
