We are doing our best to make this event. Have some challenges with the timing but we hope to have the car their one way or another. That is as long as we survive this coming weekend with Pinks.

If one of you guys can lend me their helmet for the run, I would like to participate. PM me to let me know. I did not see any C63 registered yet. Raleigh: are you just going as a spectator or will you be doing a few runs?

In all honesty, just go pick up a motorcycle helmet for under $100, then split it amongst yourselves. If I still had mine, I would sell it, but I only have my nice Shoei helmet left. I wish I could make this, but doesnt look to promising.

Would be nice to run down to FL with a fellow NC neighbor...

Btw- if you need any window tinting or a clear bra let me know I can recommend a guy in your neck of the woods...

I'm also trying to get some other guys together on (amg performance .net)

Let me know if you can make it. I will be leaving on Thursday night or Friday morning.

How much road did you need to get to that 177 speed?
I was able to do it in one mile without the Long Tubes or custom Renntech tune. I'm shooting for the Texas Mile again this year..

Actually based off the numbers we were given at the MileMarker1 event we ran at the end of last year, we ran a little over 170mph in a mile. So "if" you ran 177 stock (which by the way..... NO), with all the mods you've either done or are doing WOW!!!! you should be near the 190 mark. Can't wait to see your new numbers from Texas Mile. We should have new numbers next weekend.

Well, the reason why I say Florida is that there is a silver dragon on the other coast that is well worthy as well.
