I ordered the Forgestar F14s and the wheel quality is first rate. Unfortunately the customer service is not of the same caliber. I have had some fitment issues and basically have been told that it was my tire choice, noth the wheels. I will make things work as I have rolled my rear fenders, ordered 3mm spacers for the front, etc, but feel that Forgestar could have stepped up and worked with me to make things right rather than dodging all responsibility and trying to pin it on me for a brand of tire I chose.

Yes do tell - I had majr issues with 360 a year ago and I ripped them any chance I got to make sure noone else here got screwed. Then I went to Peter Lee at Wheel Experts and got probably the best customer service Ive ever had.

I bought the Forgestars through Peter! He is a friend and is doing everything he can to help me make these work despite no help from Forgestar! It seems like Forgestar is taking a one size fits all approach to the C63 and that doesn't work with lowered cars. I need the front spacers to keep the tires from rubbing on the adjustment collars on the coilovers and was willing to roll my rear fenders to allow running 275s out back. a 10" wide rear with 265s is just silly IMO.

Peter and Wheel Experts are the best and between them and my attitude of "necessity is the mother of all invention" will make this work.

Spill what beans??? I bought the F14s though Wheel Experts and the recieved the wheels with the offsets Forgestar said where correct. After mounting them up and seeing that some slight changes in offset would be better for my C63 with KW V3s we were told to go away and that any issues we had were due to my tire selection, not their wheels. As I see it, I should not need to run 3mm spacers up front and Forgestar should be able to machine 3mm less off the front mounting flange to better fit lowered cars. I'm also pissed that they are telling me I need to run brand X tire, not brand Y tire since that is not the issue. I had Brnad X on my factory wheels and the overall width, profile, etc is very similar between the tire they are telling me is the issue.

9.5" ET55 is perfect for the rear.

The problem with the 10" Forgestar F14s is they don't have a higher offset than ET50. They shouldn't even be recommending this size to C63 owners.

Yea then u did what I id - i went through Peter rather than drectly with 360 to protect myself, and boy am I glad I did that. He was there every step of the way and I had nothing to worry about. Most importantly my deposit was with him so it was safe and was credited to something else wen 360 failed to deliver. I would always suggest using someone like Peter just to be safe.

They say its because it would then rub on the inside if the used a higher offset. I also agree that giving 10'' in the back and saying to put 265 makes no sense at all.

I am tempted to have a local shop shave 2-3 mm off the inside and to make it a +53 offset and see how it goes. I don't need clearance on the inside for coilovers as I probably won't get any.

The purpose of my post was to warn potentail buyers. Never have and did not want to blast a vendor or manufacturer. I am angry and frustrated. I have 5 cars, 3 modded that I track and I have never been on a forum to complain about anyone. In my case, like the other post, it is Forgestar and not the vendor. Even though the vendor has no technical expertise. I am tired of typing as I have already responded to some of your PMs. The wheels were for my 996TT, not my C63. 2 months after I put in my order and was told 3 weeks, I received some of my order. Some of the wheels and some of the parts. Car sat on a dealer lift for 1 week. I missed my track event yesterday and I finally ordered my OZs from tirerack mounted with PS2s. They were deliverd in 24 hours and fit perfectly.

In the interim, after being warned by another P car vendor about I Forge and Forgestar delivery and quality issues, I did some Googling. Not getting into what i came across. You can do so yourself. I highly recommend the research. After all the cars I have owned and modded, shame on me for going by price and appearence. There is a reason they are cheap.

Oh by the way, the missing wheel, centering rings and center caps, mid to late April they say now. 4 months after I put in order. I asked for a refund. But, since I had mounted tires, no refund. They pointed to fine print. I must add, mechanic discovered that one lug bolt that they finally sent me was bent. They charged me for the new set and the shipping. Never got those either. But, the $90 charge has not hit my credit card. Try calling Forgestar for technical help. I was trying to figure out % variance threshold for all wheel drive system. I was practically called an idiot.

I was going to get them for my C63 at first. Was told no fitment issues no matter how much the drop. obviously not the case.

Well....I've ordered a set, should be here by the end of the month. Others have already ordered sets on this forum as well. I'll post a review and pics after I get 'em on. I think for the price, they're worth the risk.

I've got them...

The company is very difficult to deal with... Anyone who tells you different is crazy. It's best to just expect the worst and plan to have them take a while, don't shoot the messenger (i.e. company you order them from, it's not their fault).

The quality however is good and the wheels look nice. The fitment issue can be addressed once we all figure out the best offset / wheel size / tire size combination that seems to fit everyone's cars... lowered or not.

Personally, I want the widest rear tire I can fit, so I may try a 295 rear without a lower or at least not an aggressive one. Others may want to slam the car and so you'll have a bit more trouble. As it sits, I bet, I'll need to deck the rear wheels pad to change the offset and get them to fit without fender modifications.

I am confused. This is a custom wheels that, for the fortunate, will be delivered in 4 to 5 weeks. Why would a custom wheel have fitment issues. Why would you need spacers and shaving etc.... Custom wheel is supposed to be built so that it fits car perfectly.

Then there is the question regarding quality. Wheel that looks good does not mean it is built well. One thing if you drive on the street and want a nice looking wheel. After all the things I have read, the last thing I want in the back of my mind on a race track is if the wheel has the structrural integrity to take all the loads tracking a car puts on a wheel. I like my health and car to much to risk it so that I save a few hundred dollars. A company that does not give a damn about customer satisfaction is more likely to put a bad product out there and deal with the consequences.

Has anyone seen so much negative feedback and information here and other sites regarding, Kleeman, Renntech, Brabus, OZ, HRE, BBS, ...........
I had spacer issues with my Kleeman wheels. They had 2 different width spacers out to me over night and for free. I thought my ecu was flashed by dealer. They checked it out and mailed it back to me for free. Every time I have a problem they are there and help me out. That is what required in this space. Otherwise your days are numbered.
