I think it will be in the MY11, Merc have made a number of statements with regard to AMG moving down the forced induction path by 2011. A fair wait however as it wouldn't even be announced until July-Sept I'd imagine.

As mentioned, there are rumors to the contrary.

Hmmmmm, just wondering out loud but here goes. I understand that the SLS motor has enough differences from the M156 to be designated M159. But take away the dry sump lubrication system, cold air intake and the MCT tranny, just how different is the motor from a P31 version M156? Cams and valve train could still remain model specific or a high power option for the C63. The reason I ask is that if MB has long term plans for the SLS then would there be enough shared componants to keep the P31/M156 as the standard C63 powerplant for a few more years to come. What I like about this is the possibility of P31 motor along with MCT being the standard setup for the future C63.

The comments about the engine bay being to small for a 5.5TT are already disproven by the Brabus Bullit which has a 65 motor in a C chasis.

I already saw the picture of the engine form every single angle and despite being a great engine from factory I just don't like how they incorporated the headers(turbo manifolds) into the turbo hosuing in one piece. This will make virtually imposssible for any manufacturer to provide an aftermarket turbo unless you buy a turbokit which you would have to get exhaust manifolds as well making it like much much more expensive to mod.

On the other hand Iam convinced you can squeeze another 150hp easily on the stock turbos. my .2c
