7G Tronic Gearbox problem?
My gearbox (only when it's cold) doesn't change the gears smoothly as usually did......especially 2gear - 3gear.
I visited local MB service but they told me it's normal after 40000km....
Has anyone the same problem?

I am from Canada, in the winter it can get pretty cold. When its cold gear changes can be rough due to the temperature of fluids, parts...After driving for a while and the engine heats up to normal temperature it runs fine.

I have the same problem, even when the car is warmed up, but mine when
changing from 1st to 2nd it lags for about 3-4sec then shifts really hard.
car is at 48000km.

The fix has been a valve body replacement. You might want to do a search here; I think there are a few TSBs out on this.

There have been issues with the 7G Tronic but primarily on non-AMG models. The issues are abrupt shifts from second to first (in S mode) and the 2 to 3rd gear hard (slow) shifts.

this is a normal thingy for electronic throttle and electronic gas pedal....at the beginning i have this problem....but soon after i install the Sprint Booster (electronic gas pedal hack).....i can feel the different in shifting and overall performance....But one thing, i have to warm the car at least 60 degree celcuis...before i go nuts with the car....otherwise i will be having shift delay, or shift shocks, worst case it happen...the car felt like it has a super racing clutch (hopping)....only drove 1800kms on my c63

Folks, disagree on fluid warm up etc. I was getting hard downshift from 2 to 1 on cold start. Had it into a good dealer, they updated 7G an ECU software with latest and I've been driving it for a month now, all hard shifts cured.
