I'm not sure where the ship is but I do know that it's set sail already. Unfortuantely I can't track it but I will be notified by a phone call as soon as it arrives to port. From there I will be able to clear customs and track it by truck freight.

 

Hey guys I would like to offer an update for 6/14/10

As per a few emails that arrived to me in the last week or so some are worried about the delay and would like to reassure some of you that might have come concerns about the shipment.

First I would like to say that GMP has never not delivered on parts to anyone or if a vendor had left us hanging GMP has always made good.

With that said, Revozport has always shipped us everything we have ever ordered in the past. They have never had put us in a situation where we had to refund the customers money because the parts could not be obtained.

Status of shipment or group buy.

The status I have is that the sea freight is expected to arrive in 2 weeks or less. I can't say for sure because its not coming air freight, all I know is that the ship is supposed to take two weeks to get from HK to California, so that would leave us technically with one week left but I like to plan on the worst case scenario an extra week just in case for bad weather or anything else that could delay the boat from arriving to port as scheduled.

Once it arrives to port I will have it trucked to GMP immediately. Unfortunately I don't have anyone on the west coast that I would trust with my life over there to sort the shipment and send it out to everyone individually as well as inspect all the parts and package them correctly.

There were two major things that took part in the delay of the parts both are related to how successful the group buy was. Revozport took a little extra time getting the parts manufactured. And the other was bringing it in by sea freight versus air freight. Because of the size of the order, with out evenly spreading $1500 extra for air freight there was no way to do it. Sea freight ended up being the next logic way. This adds 2 weeks minimum as well just in freight time not including the day or two for logistics and getting quotes and scheduling it for the next ship to leave.

 

Hey guys just an update for 6/29/10,

I received a call today from a freight forward that's based out of NY. Apparently Revosport was suggested by the sea freight company to bring the shipment to NY since it was closer to GMP. This takes an extra week to get to NY 3 in total from the date it left (6/14/10)
but getting the parts from NY to GMP will take 1-2 days max via truck. I will make sure once everything arrives to GMP that everything else in the shipping department gets put on hold and will make sure everything gets sorted boxed and shipped out in 24 hours or I will ship it for free. When I have the tracking from the truck company I will post it up on here for everyone to follow.

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to give yall another update as of today. I spoke with Colleen at Carmichael International Services see email below. THe ship is supposed to arrive to NY July 16. Colleen had previously told me that from Hong Kong it usually takes 3 weeks. If it arrives next week on the 16th it will be a total of 5 weeks. The ship actually left on the 17th, not the 14th I was previously told by Colleen. She said the 14th is when she received information from the sea freight company that a shipment was going to be headed their way. Although at this point it doesn't matter why its coming in so late but I have emailed Revozport to find out why. I was told everything was ready to go by the first week of June. I will let you know what the reply is but atleast now we have a date to look foward to.

Ok I have some new information. There was a little confusion about the shipment and the logistics.

Please forget everything I just said lol. The sea freight from Revozport in Hong Kong arrived to NY on Friday of last week the 9th I believe. From there the parts will be delivered to Charlotte by train. I will know today when the train is scheduled to leave NY and arrive to Charlotte.

I'm still waiting on the status of the shipment right now. Last update I have as of this morning is that it arrived Friday to the NY Port and that our broker is trying to obtain the location of the shipment. It could be still in NY or it could be in transit via train to Charlotte. If there is a large number of a shipments that need to go to Charlotte or the Southeast Region from NY its more cost efficient to send it by train all in one shot instead of sending multiple UPS or Fedex trucks. The cost of sea freight includes this service.

I'm expecting the shipment to arrive via train in Charlotte on Monday the 19th.

We will pick it up from the station port sort it and ship it out to everyone as quickly as posssible.

As of yesterday afternoon the shipment didn't arrive to Charlotte yet. I did call this morning to follow up. The shipment has arrived. Customs has released it.

We are going to pick up the shipment here shortly.

 

Good Afternoon everyone. I have some good news. The revozport group buy shipment has arrived. I have sorted everything and we have everything that everyone has ordered. I picked it up and got back to GMP around 230pm today and have been opening and inspecting everything since and taking some pictures along the way.

Tomorrow morning everything will get boxed up and shipped out except for one thats getting installed here locally.

Again we have a RBS Stage 3 complete kit left over as well if anyone is interested in either the full kit or just bits and pieces, just shoot me an email for pricing
