Hankook Ventus R-S3 (Z222)?
Anybody tried these tires? They are advertised as Extreme Performance Summer tires. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on these.

I just searched R-S3, which is why I am bumping the post.

I will be running them Friday at Thunder Hill. I saw a post on a porsche forum saying they were somewhere between an NT-01 and 05.

+1. i want the bstone re-11's, but tirerack doesn't carry the 275/35/18's. the ventus r-s3 does come in 275/35/18, so im wondering how these tires fare/compare.

i've run these on my GT3 and like them a lot. very sticky once up to temp, and very consistent. a great tire.

So I used them at Thunderhill and Laguna, fantastic tire. A little understear when cold and then better than my skill.

Used them on other various small cars at the track and thought they were an excellent street tire for the track.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Sounds like the rs3's are pretty good. I am partial to bridestones, though, so I guess it will come down to whether I go 275 or 265 in the rear...
