i started my car this morning to warm it up before driving
and i noticed the start up tone was much shorter . . . i turn the engine off and start it again and it is still shorter
i scheduled an appointment for thursday
anyone experience this

Any chance it was still warm? Maybe that's why you weren't getting the cold start rumble.

no it was like 54 degrees when i started it . . . . its the part where when u start it ur rpm goes up and back down . . . . mine usually goes up to about 1000-1200rpm this time it never touches 1000

Engine temp 54 or outside temp 54? BTW it hasn't been that cold in socal these past few days...

outside .. . my dash read 54 or 56 as i remember it was around 7 am

its not going to start up the same every time -

I remember the start-ups my first month was something I looked forward to...but every once in a while you get a crappy start, probably because its not as cold or the car hasnt sat so long. You can bring it in, but I think you'd be better off saving that 2 hours of your life.
