Hi Guys!

Went out last night after finally having put on the summer tires (yes, the winter is crazy in sweden) = the first try for me to find out how fast the car is. And my god, IT IS FAST ! To be honest, I started thinking if it´s tuned? The guy I bought it from 1,5 month ago says "no".

The only way to find out without going to the dealer (and I don´t want him to find out IF the car is tuned because it´s still under waranty) I guess is to take the time between 2 certain speeds. What would a stock C 63 do between same certain intervals vs a tuned one (say 50-100 mph, 70-130 etc?) Anyone´s got any examples, preferrably in km/h but mph is fine also.

I must say, if mine´s stock, I´m really impressed and would think twice about having it tuned...

Maybe it was just me but when my car was stock when I'd hit the pedal quickly on the highway the car wouldn't flinch.. Tuned I could feel it take it a little.

Good way to check is most tuned car has top speed limit off of 250km but this depends on what country. So if your car go way above that and no limit then it should be tuned. One other thing is dyno the car. Stock should be around 360hp again depend on the car but should be around there.

I would just take the car for a quick run on a clear highway, if it goes significantly over 250KPH (anything above 270) I would think it has been tuned. good luck

A dyno and air/fuel ratio log would do the trick nicely.

It´s already limited to 280 km/h from the factory (PP and AMG drivers package).

Closest dyno I guess is 300 km away from where I live, not an option.

Anyone´s got any data from american car magazines when they have tested the C63 so we can compare it with someones tuned car (someone must have measured something else than the 1/4 mile)?

Try 100-220km and if u made it under 10sec then your car have a tune.
