+2...I've bought 3 steering wheels and carbon fiber side mirrors from DCT and they do great work. The carbon fiber on my steering wheel and the side mirrors were top notch...

As a matter of fact there was a slight delay on the side mirrors because it did not pass the quality control internally, so I can give you guys a positive recommendation on the quality coming out of their shop.

PS...Get the CF gear shift know (if available) to complete the set...it will look sweet. As far as pricing, I remember Performance Products used to have the kit for about $2800 (for the SL). I have no idea what DCT is selling their kit for but I just wanted to prepare you guys that it isn't cheap...quality work usually never really is done on the cheap.

 

i don't understand why people think that the carbon fiber products are so expensive to make . the oem carbon hood was $1600 before shipping on ebay . that's insane to try and get rich quick off a few items . Carl Lan from Stone-Carbon made my vented hood for $800 and some change before shipping . he told me that he would rather make a lot of hoods to sell at a good price than make a couple at an expensive price . last time i checked , these carbon products didn't have gold in them . i can order a sheet of carbon fiber that is ready to use when i get it from Protech Composites . they have different sizes but the biggest sheet is 100" x 50" and is $500 . you could make a lot of carbon fiber stuff out of that . the sheets are .25 or .5 mm thick and can be cut with a pair of scissors . check out their site........
