Bumper Curb

Anyone else have this problem? This was there previously, and even though as it's not visible while standing, it's very freakin' annoying just knowing it's there!

What's the recommended fix? Does it look quite easy to touch up myself, or should I buy the touch up paint & take it to a shop? If I needed to buy a replacement part, would it be the entire bumper, or is the lip sold separately? Feedback welcome..

Just try and forget about it, it's going to happen again. Try to minimize by slowing down, angles, watching parking curbs.

That can be repaired at a decent body shop, but its fairly expensive, and if you are like me, that road rash will be back in a couple of month.

I just use the touch up paint from the dealer and splash it on pretty thick. As long as I cover the rash with the body color paint, I find that it is pretty much invisible at that level, no matter how little care I use to apply the paint. And I am pretty **** about my car.

always go to a paint detailer first, ask him if this can be fixed by compounding or buffing. I'm not expert on this, but before heading to a body shop, consult a detailer first!

good luck

I had a few rock chips fixed on the hood, required some blending, etc. and cost about $300.

if it bothers you that much find one of those dent repair places. or a body shop. my tint place has paintless repair and a paint booth for when a repaint is necessary. i have a small "rub" spot higher than you on the front vents below the reflectors. i just touched mine up and honestly you cant tell it when you are standing next to the car.
