I've used a duster for many years as well. Never use on a hot car and I actually bought a couple. One for the outside of the car, a small one for the inside and another small one for the wheels.....works great!!

My wooden one broke and I have a plastic one now. Great for removing the black dust off the back of the car that shows up after every drive.
