2010 C63 AMG

3M Rockguard on my 2010 C63

Hello everyone. I just picked up my C63 on Saturday. I live in Canada, and even though I won't be driving this car in the winter, I am having 3M clear bra put on it. The car is the Calcite White, and it looks wonderful. Here is the question:

I am having the clear-guard done on the car, full front bumper and trim, headlamps, side mirrors, and 18" on the hood. For those of you that have done this, what did you price out at? I am having this done privately instead of at the MB dealership. Thanks everyone.

You may want to go see one that only has a partial hood done in the clear bra. Some have complained about the line on the hood, might really annoy you.

On a white car, I would get the whole hood and fenders done. the 3M will Yellow over time.

There is a 7 year warranty on the Xpel product. After 5-7 years just rip it off and redo it. Acceptable cost for mint paint. I was quoted 15xx for full hood, full fender, side mirrors, bumper, headlights, fogs, A pillars and the bit before the sunroof.

Do the entire hood and front fenders - I also have my windshield done for extra measure.

i got full hood, fenders, front bumper, both side skirt, some area in the mirror, all lower half doors, some quarter panels, little bit (on the rear bumper) behind the rear wheel for under $2500cdn.....some ppl thing i am going nuts....but if u track the car or drive in snow, i think it is really worth it... and i have a wht c63 as well....here is the pics taken last weekend...
