Aftermarket exhaust for C63?

I know many people should wonder why there aren't many aftermarket exhausts available for c63, I guess the reason why is because stock systems are good enough, am i correct?

I love the c63 stock exhaust, but i want bigger oval tips and deeper tone!!

The stock tips are too small, does anyone know is there any stock oval looking quad tips or exhaust systems available for c63 with larger tips and deeper tone?

I'm sure larger exhaust tips and deeper exhaust tone on our cars will make our cars cross beyond perfect!!

What are you kidding me? Stock tips are not big? Any bigger it would look rice Also the stock sound is loud. I get plenty of attention as is. I just love it!

Why would you want to replace the signature quad AMG chrome exhaust tips? Definitely no reason to change them out, imho. If you want a deeper, meaner exhaust note, just replace the secondary cats with either straight pipes, high-flow cats, or do the X-pipe thing. If you really want a whole new sound and more HP/TQ, replace the DPs with larger, aftermarket, higher-flow DPs.

I agree with sfllgator on this one. Have you been here?? https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...installed.html You also might want to check superlubricity Youtube channel for some cool clips. https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...63-videos.html

Just get GT Pro's X-pipe setup if you want a quick noise boost and some performance as well. I wouldn't change the signature AMG tailpipes.

But if you really want to change the exhaust, have you checked out the Carlsson C63?

Thank you guys for the info...

i know i sound like an idiot, but how about the evosport's valvetronic exhaust... has anyone tried it? all i know is it has a x pipe and slightly bigger tips.

i am asking this because i am planning to install a revozport cf diffuser, and in my opinion bigger tips will look better with it.

also the people with bimmers... they always complain our exhausts sound like trucks.

i know this is depressing, but i came from a m5 myself. as i remember, the v10 sound was really sweet.

i love the c63, m5 has nothing to beat it apart from the size lol, but fashion and fine tuning the exhaust sound is what i am corcerning right now...

maybe gt pro double x will help?

I'm sure a few of them secretly wished that their exhaust has the same "presence" as ours so don't worry about what they say.

The first time I heard a 63 on the road (back in early 2009 before I bought the C) was a BS downshifting for an offramp. I heard it before I saw it and was very impressed.

Check out the sound clips for the x-pipe and form your own opinion.

i am in the same boat as you. i want an aftermarket exhaust and besides some x pipe or staright pipe alternatives, there are 3 that come to mind. evosport has two, the full exhaust which has an x pipe and is basically straight through the rest of the way or their valvetronic muffler system. MHP also offers a catback system. Im not sure which one to go with. Anyone that has either of these and wish to chime in?

If you want to get picky with your exhaust and also keep the same quad tip look, stick with Eisenmann. Even though your current exhaust is made by Eisenmann, I believe it's based off their Sport line. You can upgrade to their Race line for even more growl, but you should start with a resonator delete or maybe even cat delete first to fine tune your pitch before investing in a more expensive exhaust replacement.

It seems the debate is still on regarding the deletion of the resonators. Some say it is too loud but I listened to soldier's car in Miami and I thought it sounded great. I think a straight pipe replacing the resonators and secondary cats will give you a noticable increase in sound. Since it is an easy cheap mod, if you do not like it, it is easy to put it back to stock and then invest in a more expensive system.

There is only one company that makes a cat back exhaust which is meisterschaft. That exhaust is made in Korea, tips are not any larger and nothing exceptional for the money which is common knowledge. The best thing I would recommend which most people concur with is to do the following. Leave the Stock tips and invest in headers, x-pipe or a combination of the two. Not only will you get the desired sound but will provide you with horsepower gains to accommodate that amazing sound. Following is a video of our Car with just the x-pipes. after that here is a video with Headers and straight mid pipes. Two very different distinct sounds that should get the senses tingling providing you with exactly what you want and need.

I thought Soldier replaced his secondary cats with hi-flow versions?

I have high-flow 2ndary cats with the oem resonator, while I believe Soldier has straight pipes either with or without the oem resonator.

Here are two pictures of my car with the Carlsson rear sections. I know the tips aren't for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the AMG quad tips, but there are so many AMGs around LA with those tips that I wanted to do something different. Pictures aren't great and the car is dirty but you get the idea.

Anyway, I told them I wanted them to remove the primary cats and put in a downpipe to connect from the manifold to the x-pipes...they told me it couldn't be done.

I told them I'd get an ECU reflashed, and they said that there is NO reflash for AMG that keeps the CEL from tripping, and that it would create too much airflow and possibly detonate the engine.

Needless to say after the display of ignorance, I got my car back down and quickly vacated.

When you put in your downpipes, were they just custom made to delete primaries? Where did you get your ECU reflashed? HP/TQ gains?
