HOW TO QUESTION, RESET Maintenance Req. Msg

Anyone know of the procedure to clear the message of the Schedule A service required? The message has come on at 7500 miles. Now it's telling me how many days past I am due for the service. Hey Suess......

I thought we had a 10,000 mile service interval?

I don't do dealerships for service, that's what the back yard is for........

They come on every year? I think it was 10K miles or every year....someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

IIRC,
key in position 1,
hit call pickup button and OK button for like 5 seconds
you will get a menu to reset

Howdy Sin.

The C32 AMG is holding up great. We did get an exhaust leak over the past weekend and will pin it down tonight. Better that than a compressor bearing. Other than that, just like the C63, rock solid and a pleasure to drive.

Course, he wasn't complaining driving the C63 to Griffith Park high school golf tournament yesterday. Brought it back in one piece too with no tickets! Not a bad deal for an high school senior. I got to hear my exhaust note when he drove away!

Thank You Everyone, Mission Success, Reset Accomp.

That's for the support. I have been driving for a year now and didn't notice the pickup call button on the steering wheel, lol.

Been using the center console all this time for the phone. I needed a good laugh today. Hey, I may be slow, but at least I am consistent.

Anyhow, the reset procedure worked great. Thanks.

With regards to the interval mileage for maintenance, once I got into the menu, the options displayed +2500 miles and -5 days past, so looks like it recognizes the 10,000 mile number.
