Guys, sorry for no update here. I had a last minute business trip to US and won't be back in Europe until mid-next week. Console has arrived at dealership and upon my return to CZ I will post:
1. Pics of both consoles side-by-side for review
2. Pics of new Euro console installed
Then I will post list of all members who want the unit upon review and order them next week. I will send PM to each confirmed person asking for shipping address and preferred payment method. Sorry for delays here.

Finally back in Europe. Console is at dealership and will have installed on Monday. As promised, I will send pre/post pics and make sure that everyone can see the unit before confirming they want the console. Sorry for delays here.

F&%$*N SWEET! The only things I wanted to change about my C63 (when I get it) is this Euro Console Cover/Leather Armrest and I wanted to swap out the US spec RED blinking LED tails to the EURO spec AMBER blinking LED tails... dont know if it would be an exact swap, anyone know????

Guys, very sorry for the delays here. Things have been nuts. I picked up the console today and have attached pics for you all to review. Sorry about the quality of pics. I did not have chance to install it yet as I have been busy doing other mods and I need the car for a weekend trip so I have delayed install for a few days until next week. For those of you who have expressed interest in the unit, I wanted to post pics of unit stand alone before install so all can see it and make sure that this is what they want. I would say the quality is ok, but I am constantly amazed at the poor quality of all MB OEM parts. I will install next week and take further pics for those of you who want to see it installed. Sorry once again about delays here.

So, that part number that we're looking at in the picture, did it ship as a complete unit with the roller door, truss, upper cover, etc...? we're there other part numbers involded? (i assume the cupholder insert is separate).

I will be doing install over weekend and will post pics once done. The unit shipped with everything in pic except the cup-holder insert (which I bought seperately online) which is unusual as usually you need to order the door and upper cover as seperrate pieces - they were priced at $50.00 or so a piece. Since this was bought thru dealership it looks like MB supplies the complete unit and parts as if it were to be put into new car - not sure of this but have confirmed that the unit with these parts would be what be shipped when ordered

For those who wanted to order these from Europe, it looks like you can get them from this site as well and $20.00 cheaper than I can get them from MBZ here. https://www.getmercedesparts.com/par...layCatalogid=0 If this meets your needs, then let me know so I don't order you one from Europe. It is part 10 on the attached.
Can anyone here say with any certainty whether the part at getmercedesparts.com is the same item... leather and all? Also, what is the part number of the divider that might keep your Big Gulp in its rightful place? I'm ready to go here. That might be the best $300 I've spent in a while.

I am assuming that because many folks appear to be putting Dave through a lot of work on our behalf, the parts available here through getmercedesparts.com are not the same as what he is getting in CZ. Am I correct in this assumption? If not, and the parts available here are the same, why are we making Dave work so hard?

I can't say if the part is the same. I posted pic with the MB box which has PN# so you can cross-reference it that way against part at getmercedesparts.com

No work at all. If the parts are the same, then it is up to members to do what they want as far as getting the console through me or at the site. Might make more sense through the site if they are the same part. Alot of people wanted Euro console and it was easy to get here and fairly cheap. Just an offer to help out. To be honest I find MB in Europe easier to deal with than in US. They order me whatever parts I want and never question it. Changed out Airboxes no issue. They even install them. When I was in US, the dealer (in MD was always a pain saying we can't do this or that for company policy reason etc etc)
