C63 AMG floor mats, HELP
I recently purchased a C63 AMG 2009 CPO's loaded with every option included the performance package, black with black walnut and gray leather.
the car is absolutely fantastic. I have owned many great cars including porche, audi, BMW, i am holding on to my M3 02 which i cant get let go off. this AMG is like a wild animal and i love it!
i have one question regarding the floor mats. when i picked up the car everything looked fine but when i got home i realized that the floor mat on the passenger side was missing.
The dealer told me they would send a new set of mats but when they arrived i found out that they were not AMG mats. they were original mercedes benz mats but did not include the AMG stitching which i like.
apparently these AMG mats are expensive and the dealer says that they did not have enough money in the deal with me and proposed to sell me a new set at cost, i am still waiting what the cost is but i have heard this could run above usd 300.00.
has any one of you every tried to buy original AMG mats?
what is your opinion of the dealers response? in my opinion they should include original mats, this is a usd 60K plus car and not a dodge neon right?
anyway, your suggestions are high appreciated.

If you paid $60K for a 09 then the dealer made a ton of cash on the deal and should get you the mat free of charge. The car comes with 4 mats and that is the way it should be sold. The mats they ordered were their order mistake not yours and they should just eat it.

Oi, let's not add insult to injury and make the OP feel worse about his new purchase. He did pay a bit (or a lot) higher for the car than most of us thinks he should, but it's done, so let's just help him out. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'd go back to the dealer and fight with them, sir. You've paid much more than you should, so it's only right that you get the car as you had pictured it. Good luck!

I paid 65k (out the door) for a fully loaded '09 with 7k miles (includes tire warranty & GAP). Maybe my wound will lessen the OP's injury, but will it heal his scar? ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Back on topic, the dealership will eventually give you the AMG mats. I understand it's hard to pretend being unhappy shortly after you pick up the C63, but you have to show them you're extremely unsatisfied with their service. One genuine poor customer review causes other potential customers to shop elsewhere, they understand that very well.
Once you receive the floor mat, you should take a look at these for an alternative during the rainy season. Weather Tech (If you haven't already)

C63 AMG Arctic w/ Stage 1 Tune, DoubleXX pipe, MCD-631X coming soon
This is very odd. My personal opinion, is to speak directly with the General Manager, I'm sure a little calm discovery and you will get your mats, just stay cool.

Go back to that dealership, have your hair all messed up and try and establish a craZY dude twitch and you tell them that they better give you the right mats or you will make sure no one you know EVER walks into thier dealership again. That is absolutely BULLSH*T. They need to you the right mats, make sure they are exactly what you want, see your smile on your face, and apologize.
YOU MADE THEM A TON OF MONEY. Used or not used. They sold you a car with the wrong mats. GO BACK AND RAISE HELL. They NEED to give you the complete package.
Heck, give me their number. I'm free tomorrow....

Congrats on getting the mats you deserved.
Regarding the price, don't let people fool you. $56K is a good price and if it has the options you wanted, then it does not matter. It may not be the best deal on the net but you did not get overpay.
I seriously doubt that Algamzi's car was full options i.e. has the PP package, carbon etc... for 54K. He would be the first on the forum to get a brand new 81K MSRP / 76K Invoice vehicle for $20K less than invoice.
Congrats on the car
