AMG Floormat help needed part II
some of you may have read mat story part I where I was looking for suggestions what to do after i found out that my 09 C63 was sold to me with a missing AMG floor mat on the passenger side.
the GM at the dealer ship told me this morning that when one orders a replacement mat for an AMG C63 you get Mercedes Benz mats, NOT AMG mats! this means that there are no AMG mats to be had.
the part # is A20468001489G63 and according to the dealership when you order this part you do not get a floor mat with AMG stitching.
is there any one on this forum who can find out if this is true??
it sounds absurd to me.....
thanks for your help.

LMAO that's such BS.

The last item under "interior styling" is floor mats. The part number for a complete set of 4 floormats for a left hand drive car is B66027202 according to that website.

Oh my gosh. Ask the GM if you'd get a C350 when you place an order for a C63, too? Such a bull$h*t dealership! It's a shame that dealership is even affiliated with the Mercedes-Benz "prestige."

It's been my experience that North American MB dealers have a lot of problems ordering parts with European part numbers. As far as I know, all the part numbers listed so far are European.
Have you tried calling a few other dealers and asking for the part number of the AMG floor mat? See if they all give you the same part number.

A204 680 01 48 9G63 should be the factory spec AMG mats for a C63. This is black, which I beleive all C63's floors are. Someone correct me if I am wrong and there are other color floors in C63's.

floormat part II
Stan & Laurel, this number you mention A204 680 01 48 9G63 was mentioned to me as the correct PN by an other local dealer but than the dealer i bought the car from said this was incorrect. i dont understand why they carry different numbers for the same product/part between europe/USA, this is strange to me. I will get back with the dealer in Jackson and tell them that this number you gave me is the correct PN.
how did you get this number if you dont mind me asking and also do you know what would be the cost and can this be ordered immediately in the USA?
thanks for your help!

This is the floor mat part number displayed in EPC for a C63. Call dealer give them your VIN and have them look up floormat in EPC. Group 68 / Subgroup 410 callout 500. Should show the same A204 680 01 48 9G63. Looks like the part will come direct from Germany, meaning no stock in US. I can't give you a cost since that is controlled by dealership.
Looking at your orignal post. You said dealer showed you or just said that these will say Mercedes Benz? There are some cases of special edition mats that are production only mays. But in this case the above number will give you all 4 mats with "AMG" stiched into each mat including rear mats. Good Luck.

BINGO! we have a winner and thank you. The dealer told me that your info checked out and they will order the mats. still dont like the fact that i got the run around for all this time because as you found out i dont see why they could not have come up with this same information from the beginning. anyway, thanks a lot !

Just to clarify the confusion is that up until recently most floor mats are / were "B" numbers which are considered accessory numbers. Within the past couple years more and more items are being included in the original parts catalogue and not considered accessories. Because of this it is common that dealers do not check the parts catalogue for things like floor mats and look to accessory listings. This is why they only have "Mercedes Benz" mats. The 204 chassis was the start of more parts being listed in the catalogue. Glad you could get this sorted out with the dealer! Feel free to let me know if you get jammed up with any other parts issues.
