Before after Gintani Tune...
Well long story short, this weekend I went to just check out the Gintani facility since they are so close to me. I only heard great things about them from friends in the BMW community among others. Then I was referred to them from my friend Eugene(great guy!) who knew I was close by. I wasn't planning on having any work done but after looking around and speaking with them I was sold. Not only were they very very knowledgeable their services were top notch in my book. They really took care of me. Thank you guys again if you are reading this. Jeremy, Alex, and Josh are just the best to deal with. I am really enjoying the car bigtime now! Anyhow, first thing is they gave me a baseline dyno (which I was very disappointed in once I saw the base numbers) but after careful reviewing and researching the dyno they use (dyno-dynamics) is very well known to give super conservative numbers so I didn't feel so bad afterwards. Now for the for the good part. All I can say is it became a new beast compared to minutes before I brought her in......well just see below for results. Pulls like a freight train now on top end. Would love to see what it puts down on a dynojet for comparison obviously..
Before and after ECU:
PS: if anyone has any experience/numbers on a dyno-dynamics too it would be really nice for comparison before thinking the numbers are too low. Also, on a side note, stay tuned because they have alot of nutty stuff in the works for the 63's that I cant wait to put my name on.
Thanks,
Anthony

56whp gain is nice and thats what we typically get from a tune...but these are the lowest numbers i've seen from a c63, we get from 355-377whp stock u got 388whp with tune!!! thats very low...

Exactly why I was so disappointed at first but from what I understand this type of dyno reads super conservative. I hve only used dynojet in the past.

REALLY? Detonation must be common in your area! Do you put 91 in the Evo? Surely it pings its brains off under load!!
Sucks if you want a performance car.. i'd buy a diesel and chip it haha

I wish I live in a colder area near sea level and with gas stationes available nearby that sells 93oct, I just don't know why AZ doesn't offer 93oct gas.
In my opinion it is absurd and stupid to not sell better gas when there are soo many people that would rather run 93oct.

I happen to know the dyno at Gintani is incredibly low.... probably one of the lowest in California. Dynoing 388 rwhp on that dyno is actually very impressive
Congrats and looking forward to some track results

I just want to say that I am extremely happy with Gintani files. Just with drop-in filter, a flash and front cat delete, I was able to hit 9.76sec of 60-130mph. That is a pretty impressive number.. And Jeremy/Alex have always been great help.
Alex, please... I need my header!!

I wonder if they'll ever tackle the whole forced induction scenario for the C63 since they've done so well with it on the M3s ...... but then again it's a different ball game altogether.

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Loves, east of Chandler on I10 - same exit as Firebird - 100 and 110 octane (same price). I get my fuel at that Love's instead of the Valero because Valero has a $75 cap per transaction on my Wright Express card. Love's does not.
There are a few more 100+ octane stations in the East Valley as well.

333whp for stock c63 on dyno dynamic is very normal in fact thats what i got on Dyno dynamic for my stock car.
380whp on a dynodynamic is roughly equal to 430 on a dynojet

To the OP, don't feel bad about having low numbers at Gintani's because everyone does. My buddy and I just got tuned at Gintanis and my friend just about had a heart attack after seeing his numbers. His baseline numbers were 403 with a car proven to be in the 11.6's at 122-123 mph. My car runs in the 10.7-10.8 with trap speeds in the low 130's and I only dynode 514 rwhp and 592 rwtq. There are many other cars here on this forum that dyno much higher than myself but yet my car gets it done at the track..... Good luck and keep on making power!

Haha...thanks Mo! My car is feeling pretty frisky these days and she'll only get faster once my tune is refined and all the kinks worked out on my IAT's and fueling.

[QUOTE=bassn_07;4090465]What up Eugene! It was great meeting you and your boy the other day. Boy, was that a tiring day or what....typical day at Gintani. No problems on that ride bro...anytime!
My feet was about to give up on me! but the ride is a 4 sure.
