My 18" Forgestar F14 wheels finally arrived . . .

. . . but they won't be mounted until Sunday evening.

Fronts are super-light @ 17.90-lbs, rears are a bit heavier @ 20.33-lbs. Specs are in my sig. I'll post a full write-up and a ton of photos in a couple days.

For now, here's a shot of them in their boxes.

I am focused on weight reduction and maximizing performance. These are roughly 28-lbs lighter than the stock wheels. Combining this change with my lightweight rotors and I've shaved close to 68-lbs of unsprung weight off this car.

Yes, Gun Metal finish and a very close match to Steel Grey.

Thankfully all four of the gun metal wheels match well. I took several photos from different angles and in different lighting. No issues.

We have been giving out a 3-4 months build time on all orders that we've received in the last month.

Will the 9.5's allow you to go wider than 275 ?

No kidding. I knew going in the wait was going to be ridiculous. James @ ACGSD kept me updated throughout the wait. Thankfully I've been focused on other mods for the past 15-weeks.

You could go wider and they'll fit the rims nicely but likely will rub without fender rolling, liner cutting, etc.

The 285/35-18 Nitto NT555R Drag Radials I have now barely fit. They are doing fine on the stock 9" wheel but they are only 11.22" wide and have very soft/round sidewalls. Definitely the exception and not the norm.

Anyhow, the offsets I chose are not too extreme as to cause additional rubbing or fitment concerns with any tire combo that is working with the OEM wheels. I'll know more and post more after I get them mounted up.

Got the same set coming in 18x8.5 18x9.5. I'll lose 40lbs changing from the 19s with wheels alone.

Aren't the 18s borderline dangerous with the weight of our car? They can handle 1200lbs per wheel (maximum load). Just sitting there, the load is 1000lbs on each corner for our car. Tracking the car will easily reach that load.

That's the advantage of the 19s, which can handle 1500lbs per wheel. But then they are heavier. What did Forgestar say about it?

I'd also love 18s!

I'd certainly prefer them to have been rated/tested @ 1400 or higher.

Anyhow, I'll get into the whole load rating thing in my write-up tonight. More to come there.
