C63 vs. M3 race
Hello everyone, this is my first post, I always write through my friend roberto with RobChang68 account, I've never written with my own account, because my english is not very good (I´m from Venezuela).
A few days ago, I had a little race with my brother, he has a E92 BMW M3 with Lightweight wheels, a lot of carbon fiber and most importantly, has a supercharger kit by ESS tuning. My brother's car has 580.4 rwhp (dynojet); I don't know how much HP my C63 is really making, but I guess it is doing plenty of power.
The outcome of this race is as follows:
In the first race we went from a roll at speed of 30 KMH (20 MPH), we went full throttle and I came out top with about three cars ahead. In the second race, we went from a speed of 75 KPH (47 MPH), I stayed a little behind and the car came forward a half car, then full throttle when changing to fourth gear, I began to pass the M3, but then, disaster strucked, it started raining and my brother suddenly skidded around in the highway, fortunately only slightty hitting the wall and guardrail with the rear bumper.
There is only one video posted on youtube of the rear camera in the BMW, you can not see the results of the first race because as I explained earlier, I was three cars ahead, you can only see an supercharged Audi RS4 of a friend that stayed far behind.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M43222BJ0Q Enjoy!!!
My current mods are:
-Renntech Tune and Carbon intake
-Evosport sport pulley
-Modern HorsePower Intake thermal gaskets and lower temperature Thermostat
-Kleemann 80mm Throttle bodies
-MBH Custom Long Tube Headers with cats deleted, but stock resonator and mufflers
-BFGoodrich Drag radials 275/35/18
-And other things
I'll be doing some 1/4 miles runs and dyno test soon, I will let you guys know!

WOW!! you either have a very fast C63 with mods that play nice together!! or the M3 isn't doinig very good!!
if the M is putting 580rwhp, it should eat our cars, but maybe your mods combo is perfect!!
BTW, how you like your MBH headders? I'm thinking to get them. It would be nice if you could write about them or give me a pm about them

I think my combo works very well, the car is insane, and the M is a real beast too.

Wow! For a moment there I was convinced your brother had one of those fancy 360 degree rotating cameras like on F1 but no! That was a spin!
Dime... what do you do in Venezuela? I thought with "el diablo" running the show he would be re-distributing your V8 so that every Venezuelan could have 1 cylinder Awesome that you have a C63 and salud from Huntington Beach, California, United States.

Glad that no one got hurt.
I also feel that something does not add up. 580hp to the wheels as you seem to indicate would equate 725 crank hp and your modded C63 would not be able to keep up or beat him.
If the mods he has done are just a supercharger, I think 580 crank hp sounds more realistic. I could potentially see that your car with your mods could be about the same horsepower therefore if your brother is not in the right gear (if he has a stick), it would make sense that you would win the race.
Therefore I would confirm with your brother what exact mods he has and if he has dynoed the car, ask to see the chart so that you can confirm if he has 580 crank or rear wheel hp.
Thanks for sharing and you have proven that about 7K of mods can make our car a real powerhouse and makes it a contender even with stock supercars.

Actually my brother's car has 580 rwhp, not at the flywheel, I was there when they tested the car on the Dyno, You can see the M3 supercharger kit directly to the website of ess tuning, my brother has the most powerful kit they offer. I will ask him the Dyno graphic to post here.
I feel a major difference with the throttle bodies, The Throttle response is enhanced A LOT...and the car feels a lot stronger, I think it's worth .
And yes, when I put "other things" in the first post, I meant 100 HP nitrous shoot and racing fuel.

Well, if you have nitrous then you may be pushing well above 500rwhp and could be reason why you beat your brother.
If you do, then you probably have the most powerful C63 out there. Congrats

Hello dear new friends like me one with this community, I am the owner of dinojet where these two cars have changed, I am a professional tuner and I can guarantee that these two vehicles are genuine street monsters. the E92 M3 ess supercharged 580Whp really has, of course that apart from the original kit has other modifications, custom pulley, exhaust for example. The amg C is a street monster we have no specific data on NO2kit gain , because when we did tests to find the correct afr and knock counts no exist, the bottle was empty and we could not complete a good run. i do not want to predict, but the numbers are going to the 580 / 600whp, on data we have 560whp in the mid-range power. I hope to give more news soon. thanks

Is this a wet kit or a dry kit...do you have any pics?
