Thanks for clearing this up. It's a little disappointing that there is no discount, but I understand your position completely.

Would you mind sharing what kind of rwhp increase (if any) this full exhaust system will deliver on an otherwise stock C63?

Also, what kind of change in sound from the stock system will the system produce? Does your system sound deeper, throatier, higher pitch (formula 1ish, if that's even possible on this burly engine), crackly on downshifts and higher rpm revving, etc.?

How much weight savings from the stock exhaust will your complete system provide (In lbs if possible)?

We are still finishing up development of the system. It is due to be available in late October.

The gains are about 12 horsepower and 15 ft. lbs. of torque. I do not have the weight savings details or a power graph at this point. I will post them as soon as they are available.

Right now we are doing several videos for the upcoming SEMA show. The C63 is on the list. Once the video is posted on our web site I will let you know.

Akrapovic added another picture to their c63 setup. Not too revealing but a different angle.

$7500 for a full exhaust for the C63? Wait a minute last time I checked that's around what a F430 aftermarket exhaust system retails for...

I agree, $7,500 is pretty steep.
but then again, Akrapovic makes one of the best exhaust systems on the planet.

As expected, mini heartattack! lol

I also wish they offered their other beautiful tips instead of these. I would love something like the ones on the E90/92 system.

Why do you guys think its going to be $7,500? That is a lot for just an exhaust even though it is the infamous Akrapovic Titanium Evolution. I'd expect it to be within the M3 system price range which goes for $5,660. Its too early to speculate on the price before the official price announcement.

Peter,
Is that for the entire exhaust from header to tip?

Thanks You!

Thats how much the full BMW M3 Evolution Titanium system costs and it is a header-back. I have no idea what they will price the C63 system at.

$5,660 sounds better but we still gotta see what kind of gains this will generate in terms of power.

Hope they can beat the sound of oem C63.
IMO, I have never heard any of aggressive sounding Akrapovich, even though they look nice and pricy.

Hey Peter, how are you doing? I'm still waiting on my goods as its in transit in Singapore. Can't wait!

Anyways, noticed you're an authorised dealer for Akrapovic. Do share with us on the performance gains and how it does sound like. I really dig those exhaust tips!

Is this going to be a full 3" system or the same diameter as stock?

Is the C63 system header back or just mids back? Anything planned for the E63s?

Thanks

Thanks You!
The Evolution Titanium on those type of cars are header-back. the Slip-On is normally just the mufflers.

I am actually very excited to see this setup on your car. Then we fitted your front wheel on one of the shop's c63s, it looked amazing!

Yes, we are authorized dealer for Akrapovic and have been before Akrapovic had the official presence in USA. Once I know anything, I will keep you guys posted.

And to clarify for those interested at home . . . header-back means this system bolts up to your stock exhaust manifolds. It does not include new headers. Just in case there was some confusion.

Thanks for the clarification. Seems like a header-back system could be an interesting proposition for those of us running the K2 package as opposed to exchanging the Kleemann shorties for real long tubes.

Power gains will probably not reach the full potential of the long tubes but should come close. Or am I missing something obvious?

If it's meant for the stock system it wont fit the K2 package, if I'm not mistaken the manifolds are sized differently.

the slip on kit will work for those who have long tubes or K2.
