I wouldnt wanna be at a light with this m3 either BUT...Lets drop a 6.0 Liter V12 Bi Turbo engine in a c63 and lets see how well this m3 does then.

The numbers they get in the M3's are amazing. Check out the Horse Power Freaks (http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pictures/BMW/M3). The cars average 500+. One is 1200 and 7.2@185 mph

As, as one of the comments states, you can pretty much take any car, and with enough money, make it beat anything. Hell.. I bet if you dropped the R8 V10 into an Audi A1 (their mini like car assuming you could make it fit), it could probably beat most supercars.. atleast until the car explodes

Now I would never do it but how come the M3's got so many aftermarket supercharges and turbos and I have never seen a 63 amg motor with turbo or supercharger? I guess its the way they built the engine or what?

Not really that impressive... Drop a supercharger or turbo in our car and it would be like playing with a KIA RIO

None of the HPF M3's have done under 11s in the 1/4 mile. Traction is the main reason. My stage 2 in the lowest power mode rapes my C63. Too bad there's no forced induction options for the benz.

No ofense but that "700hp" M-3 would be a disastrous recipe on a street car. They just did an engine transplant. You would really need an AWD system to do well at those power levels.

As crazy as it sounds, I might see a X5 twin turbo(same engine) with minor bolt -ons beating the crap out of that rwd M-3 anyday of the week on the streets. Power is nothing without traction.

Realistically speaking it would probably do worse. You would need to get much larger tires other wise the C63 with his rear bicycle tires would be smoking and not really moving forward.

Yeah I had a run with something like this last week. 800+HP Vette. Guess what.. He only beat me by 1/4 car length..

You know why? Every time he tried to open her up he broke loose. Crazy to see.. 90MPH you can hear his engine... He blips the throttle a little more.. You can see him do a quick 1/4 car pull on me in a fraction of a second Rawwwrr!! Tires break loose. He lays off the throttle. Dangerous machine on the street.

Pulled next to him at a light futher down the road. He was like.. "I cant hook up wi.." I just interupted him and said.. dude.. say no more. Your car is a beast and would own me on the track.

Slicks would have been a whole other story..
