Ipod & Command Troubleshooting -- HELP!

First let me begin by welcoming myself into the elite brotherhood of MB owners. I have recently become the proud owner of a new 2010 Mercedes Benz C63 and am loving every minute of it! HOWEVER I have one complaint and that is I am SO CONFUSED when it comes to my ipod!! I had just purchased my car from the dealer last week and one of the first things I was excited to use was my ipod and connect it to my command (7 inch display). I finally figured out how to connect the bloody thing but soon found the message "audio device not activated - energy consumption too high" displayed on my command screen. Ive tried and checked everything and it all seems to be connected correctly and it even charges my ipod and shows the mercedes emblem on it but it wont connect to the command! I heard that this issue was to be remedied with the 2010 model but I seem to still be plagued by this connection problem, can anyone offer any insight or advice?! PLEASE HELP!!

First I've heard of this. Did you call the dealer's service dept. to ask?
