I don't think the C63 is a power ***** of a car because it does come with some handling on the side, not as much as it's other German friends (BMW & Audi). I think we've got a good balance, not too much to make the car feel unbearable and not to soft to listen to country (no pun intended). It's not like we'll spin out of control, I can pull a 80Km/H on the highway exit and I think thats good enough. But this is just me !!

 

100% power *****. Never mind the track... But my street cars keep getting faster and more powerful with each buy. My wife asked me the other day.. "So whats next" She is so right... but how much is it gonna cost me to trump the C63 is really what she meant...

 

You can get a used C6 Z06 for less then the price of a brand new c63, and it'll run circles around it.

 

Yeah, but that's apples and oranges. Especially because it's two seater v. five. If you asked me which I'd rather drive everyday I'd have to go with the C. Perfect balance of beauty/beast/comfort/utility.

 

Definately, a "Combo" of the two Just like moving major weight, must have the power but also the correct form

I think most C63 owners could of gotten a Z06 if they wanted to, including me. They are 2 very different cars. About the Z06 yes your right IT is fast but that's about it. Please dont compare 2 very different cars and companies...

this might be off topic, but, im a SOUND *****... i like the deep rumble of a big V8, thats why i ordered a C63! it gives a little bit in every department. With most 'BIG SOUND V8's' comes power so I guess if thats what gives you the sound, that makes me a dirty sleazy power-*****!

Yes but what you get in vette is ****load of junk plastic and an engine thats got technology from 50s. I wouldnt drive vette if you give it to me for free and pay me for my c63.
This is what I got to say about vette's
The interior sucks.
The exterior design is good but not great.
The Z06 is great on the track but sucks around town.
The sound system blows.
The navigation system blows.
Loaded with options and dealer markup its the same price as a Porsche 997S.
Three days after you buy it you want to get rid of it.
How can the key on a 70k car be as crappy as on a 12k cobalt.
I would rather get a swineflu then get Z06 as a DD

Modify the C63 and the vette can't keep up much less run circles around it. I know you are then comparing a modded C63 to a stock Z06 but the modded C63 gets the best of both worlds! A four door sedan that performs like a super car.

 

Your dreaming. A bone stock Z06 vs a modded C63 will barely lose (ECU and Exhaust). Stock its a 3.7 second 0-60 and 11.7 in the 1/4.

On the twisties the Vette easily takes out the C63 stock vs stock.

Modify the Vette slightly and a C63 cant touch it. Throw on a supercharger and there isnt a C63 alive that can beat it. Unless you can show me a C63 that is running in the 10's.

Then why dont you buy one? You seem to appreciate american cars much more than european cars. Even though there's a big difference between 2 cars that have nothing to do with each other in anything... The C63 was not made to compete with any Chevy. Instead, it does a very very good job against the real competition.

I like a bit of both! but Power is very fun that is for sure! that is the main reason why I got a M3 just so I can supercharge it and see what happens. Well now my G-power kits's 600HP(crank) is not enough....so

I'm in the process of doing lower compression piston rods and the whole bit!!!!

so basically its a built engine....and a very very large supercharger. I know the weight ratio will be not as good as stock but i'm fitting 305/30/19 on my rear tires to make a bit of that up. And I got new rims too ADV5 to be exact!!!!

so for now I'm a power *****

I do appreciate American muscle. Name a car class and most American muscle will beat it. Its a fact. Sorry if you disagree based on your bias for Euro cars.

I was first looking into the CTSV. A GM car that is in the same class as the C63 that beats it. I chose the C63 because I liked the body style and exhaust note better. I dont pigeon hole myself into a brand based on who makes it. obviously...

And I would tend to disagree with american muscle beating euro cars(porsche gt2 rs beats any american muscle you name). I can name 1000 amazing supersport cars coming from europe and I bet you can not name 10 from U.S. ITS A FACT GERMANS MAKE THE CARS WHILE USA IS STILL WAYYYYYYY BEHIND in that sense. You cant be the best in everything, you can think so but you aint.
