Leaking Transmission Oil

Leaking Transmission Oil
I was on my way to the office this morning when I slowed down for a bit of traffic. As I came to a stop I noticed smoke coming out from under the car.
Pulled over and noticed it was leaking oil around the transmission area.
Got back in and drove the car to MB. Put the car up on a hoist, removed plastic covers and noticed a lot of oil leaking out (only when engine is running).
Entire underside of the car was messed with oil.
SA said it may be the transmission oil pump or front seal. Will now tomorrow exactly what is wrong.
Funny thing is the the car still drove perfectly, changed gears fine and no warning lights of ay sort. Anyone else experienced this?

it happened to me in my ml63. the transmission was leaking and i didnt notice( no smoke, no warning light ) suddenly at my house i noticed the oil. i took it to the dealership, they said the transmission disintegrated. because i ran on it without oil. they changed it under warranty. but they didnt know why it leaked.

it happened to me in my ml63. the transmission was leaking and i didnt notice( no smoke, no warning light ) suddenly at my house i noticed the oil. i took it to the dealership, they said the transmission disintegrated. because i ran on it without oil. they changed it under warranty. but they didnt know why it leaked.

today while i was driving my c63 the transmission was jerky. very odd its the first time something like this happened( temperature 45c which is really hot). what do u think is the problem? (i ve never driven the car hard while the transmission was cold).
