Cargraphic is alot cheaper then MHP for me being in Australia. For the price of MHP headers only, i bought the complete car graphic exhaust. It got shipped on the 28th, hoping for it to be here next week and fitted by next friday.

From headers to tailpipe? That sounds like a great deal! How much in Australian $ for the whole system?

Like bhamg said, lots of options for C owners it seems. Anyone know what size the cargraphic tubes are?

Its costing me about $5500aud fitted for the whole system, inc headers to tips. They are 1 7/8in header pipe, then dual 3in with x pipe. I will post pics once its arrived.

Cargraphic lists the exhaust pipe diameter at 70mm or 2.75".

Superlube posted a breakdown of the cargraphic stuff earlier in this thread, I believe a full system is around $10,000 USD for those in the U.S.

ok then i'm lost... what is RNS talking about then?

he said he got the full exhaust system for less than what mhp charges for the headers... the mhp headers have a list price of about $4500 with no cats

He's talking about the price he paid (in AD) for the Cargraphic parts in Australia, where he lives. Which is relevant info for anyone else in Australia who might consider the Cargraphic system, but doesn't really have any bearing on what the products cost (in USD) in the United States.

Interesting.

Personally, I think it's crazy for a manufacturer to have "list" prices artificially high only to "street" much, much cheaper - just makes it harder on the consumer to find out the true costs. Probably also causes lost business for the manufacturer, if some consumers just assume it's out of their budget without researching further. The only advantage (that I can think of) is the possibility of nudging a consumer into an impulse buy, because they think "hey this is a great deal - I got a $10k exhaust system for $7k!" (FYI, I just made up those numbers... no idea what the street prices are).

Fortunately, no one cares what I think.

I partly agree. At least it is not as bad as the "PM me for price"

Come on...we all drive AMGs and $5k+ headers are the norm.

LOL. That's especially fun when afterwards you compare notes with other customers, and find out their "friend price" was better than your "friend price." EDIT: just want to be clear, I emphasized "manufacturer" for a reason; I've heard only good things about James and how ACG treats their customers.

My Kleemann headers weren't that much - then again, I don't have a M156. Enjoy living vicariously through those of you who do, however.

Guys,

I am looking at CarGraphic here. Here is what I have been quoted as far as pricing is concerned and some dyno charts. I will investigate further before I pull the trigger but it seems that they are priced very competively.

FEEDBACK FROM CARGRAPHIC:

please find attached the dyno graph from us.
You must look on "Motorleistung (korrigiert)"
there is written what the car have before and after
the tuning.

Serie DK1 Lauf4 is only ECU upgrade
Serie DK1 mit Krümmer und Katersatz is manifolds catalytic testpips and ECU
Serie DK1 DK2 is 1 OE 2 ECU 3 manfilds/cats and ECU in one dayno

We can modify your ECU but there is always a little rest risk when the ECU was program before from a other factory.

CARW204C63FK - 44 200CZK inc. VAT = $2,322USD - 20% VAT if exported = $1,857 retail

CARW204C63LP - Connecting pipe from header to X pipe **Removed secondary Cats** 18 90CZK inc. VAT = $976.98 - 20% = $781.58 retail

CARW204C63XP - Rear X-pipe 23 400CZK inc. VAT = $1,229.77 = $983.91 retail

Note these prices are retail from distributor so I am sure there would be further discounts if you bought multiple parts. I checked and they said that it would be best that you do their ECU flash just to be safe.

Also looking at KW 3 which is 53 990CZK inc. VAT = $2,837 USD - 20% VAT if exported = $2,269 - not sure how that matches up with pricing in US or elsewhere.

I don't think you can even get them here for $2322 let alone $1857 before shipping and duties, etc. Has been discussed. If you can, let all of us know as I am sure there are others here lurking to get a lower priced header.

Edit: Wait a minute. Are you the member here that arranged the Euro Center Console buy?

The best number I see with their tune and full exhaust is 537ps which is 530HP. Some tuners are seeing those numbers or better with tune alone. We need to see this system/tune at track at work. My question is, can someone cut through all the fog and just tell me in USD what the exhaust will cost including taxes, import fees, etc?TIA!

Yeah, I put together the console buy for some of the guys. If I purchase something here and export it, then VAT doesn't apply as it is been exported out of EU. Hence where I came up with the $1857 price. Shipping....well FedEx and the like are over the top as far as cost goes, but I used registered post for the consoles and this was much cheaper for the guys.

Hi B - I was going to go with Kleemann K4 but apparently they are having problems with the cams and the launch of the product according to Corry is aways off. So now I am going to piece what I can together as follows:

1. KW K3 Coilerovers

2. ECU/Headers/pipes - if Cargraphic checks out I might go with them. If not then I will go with K3 from Kleemann which covers ECU upgrade, a set headers with sport cats, and large trottle system. They throw filters in as well, but I don't think there will be much gain with filters. Should put me around 570 at crank.

3. Evo pulley

4. Just ordered some Rays VR G2s which should cut some serious weight off running OEM rims. Need to decide on some rubber, but shooting for 275 min on rear

5. CF hood arrives on Monday

6. CF front lip splitter is already and ready for install.

7. CF roof spolier arrives Tuesday

8. RevoSport CF grill on order

9. EvoSport 2-Piece Rotors -back ordered

That would be it. I have already done most of the interior except for CF gauge cluster which I will be ordering from MaCarbon. That should be it for the time been. These things are money-pit!

570 at the crank from a K3 package would equate to around 465rwhp. I don't think I've ever seen a Kleemann 63, or any car that didn't have longtubes vs manifolds make those numbers and I don't think anyone has ever tested their larger throttle bodys on their own either. Should prove interesting.
