Don't remind me. I hope CostCo provides good tires!

My only slight concern is when I test-drove the car, I felt like the bucket seat where too small. The salesperson didn't know that they can be adjusted, so I didn't want to embarrass him (even though I read that they do), I'm a big guy so I'm not sure if that's going to be a problem.

You can play around with the seat adjuster buttons on the side of the seat and youll be fine. Im 6'1 207 pounds and i feel very comfortable in mine. My friend who is 6'4 also drove my car with no problem.

Ok, good!

Final question, do I buy a brand new 2011 car or get the 2010 model at like 30k less? I'm really confused with that. I do want this car to last a long time and I don''t intend on changing it anytime soon because let's face it, it's just mind boggling, but would you recommend doing that?

Is the 2011 with the p31 package? And are the c63's (2010 and 2011 models) you want new or used?

If you can get the '10 for $30k off, go for it!

The 2011 model is obviously a new model that I want, only with premium package, does not include the extra HP.

For the 2010 model, it'll be used one.

I would personally go for the new one.
I wouldn't know if the previous owner took care of the car or abused the crap out of it. You can spend the extra money and get the 2011 model and get a brand new untouched c63 or get the 2010 model with 30,000 possibly abused miles on it. The choice is yours.

Yeah exactly. That's why I'm leaning towards the new model.

How do you like the functionality from the inside of the car? (Like navi, bluetooth, etc...) I found it a little complicated (when you have to use the knob back and forth for every letter)...

To be honest with you I love it. Its very easy to use after the first couple of days. The only little complaint i have is the C-S-M button. They should have made one on the steering wheel so you don't have to look around for it by the shifter while driving. But other then that the functionality is great.

Funny you say that, I was thinking about this too! But I think they put it there on purpose, maybe to distract you on purpose if you want to go "crazy"? lol...

Speaking of that, when I was test driving the car, I press the pedal to the max and obviously the car flew, but before it did that, because traction was on, it gave like a yellow signal and then it boosted, I'm wondering, would it do that every time traction is on? I felt like it pushes you back a second if you're racing...

It wont do that all the time, it will however if you hammer down at a standstill from time to time. lol
That yellow signal is your traction control light, when your car even slightly loses traction that light pops up for a second.

Yeah, I read that. One of the critics say that the traction control goes on really fast makes you less enjoy the car.

But I guess that's something I'd def need for a RWD car since I live in Montreal and it snows for around 4 months of the year!

Dying for this car!!!

Ya, the traction kicks in really hard on this car, When your stock tires wear down you can get some sticky tires for better handling and traction.

BTW welcome to the AMG community.

We're forced to use wet tires in winter... lol so I'm looking at an additional $2,000 in a few months!

BTW welcome to the AMG community.
Thank you!

Btw, can you use this car for everyday commuting? I have a friend of mine who owns one and he says that it's a little too much for everyday, even though the reviews I read makes this car ideal for everyday use...

The C63 is ideal for everyday use. Thats the main reason why i got the C63. I was in the market for a C6 Z06, but it wasnt suitable for me as an everday car. The suspension on the c63 is a little stiff and It drinks alot of gas. Those are the only two drawbacks i can think of. Other then that, its prefect.

You can definitely use this car as a DD because you'll look forward to drive it every time you can. It's no longer just a transportation tool - it's a TOY!

That can be turned off. On a side note, unless you are planning to keep the car for several years -- it's unwise to buy a brand new car. I get tired and switch out my rides every two years maximum, so I avoid that depreciation hit.

Good luck to ya!

I have an '09 with the AMG leather seats and I'll say this... if you're a big guy with a wide back this might not be the car for you. I'm 6'1" and 210 lbs and the seats fit my back snugly when at their widest setting. And I'm a fairly slender-framed guy. My C350 seats were much less contoured and would accommodate a much bigger person than this car. I love the support, but my 6'1" 245 lb friend probably won't be as comfortable.

Agreed. I got my '09 with 9K miles, CPO, MM, P2, iPod, AMG leather package for around $53K. Absolutely mint. New rear tires. That was a car that probably sold new for about $65K in most instances. If I bought it new I'd be buried too deep to go from car to car every two years.

You must be kidding.

If you do find a 2010 for $30K off please let me know if you don't buy it. I will. Unless of course it's been slammed or flooded. Even if it was lemoned I'll take it for $35K.
