Next to my gear shift, I only have c and s, the m is missing. According to the dealer that is how some of the 2010's are coming. If I press it, it still cyclyes to m mode. I think that is weird. Anyone else have this on their car?

 

Sounds like a mistake on the factory end... after all the C63 still shares the sames parts bin as the rest of the C class line and none of them have the added "M" option.

 

Weird... mine has all 3 modes. If urs cycle to M, then you should be ok.

 

Yes, the feature is there, just missing the right label on the button. Wonder if MB would switch the switch, if I asked nicely?

 

wtf it should have the m label.If it was me i will go back to the dealership and let them change it.

 

Take it back to the stealership and tell them to fix it...

 

The instrument cluster will always tell you in what mode you are.

I thought our cars are built in a different plant than the other Cs. In that case, the switch that does not have the M should be no where near the car when it's built. Maybe the car arrived at the dealer with a broken switch and the dealer changed it with what they had available, a standard C class switch.
I would insist on correcting this. I call it a BS that "some" 2010s came this way. That makes no sense.

If I recall correctly your ride was a DEMO? My guess is it was broken during its time as a Demo and the dealer replaced it with what he had on hand.. some 2010's are coming in that way sounds like total BS. Dealer probably hasnt seen enough 2010 C63's to make that comment.

Go get your button changed...it shouldn't be that way.

 

My 2010 C-63 AMG came with the standard M-Benz doorsill on the driver's side,not the AMG sill as it was supposed to be. I took the car back and they replaced with it the proper AMG doorsill after waiting for it to be ordered. The passenger side had the AMG doorsill.
Anybody experience other oddities upon delivery?

 

My car came with crappy gas mileage upon delivery. I think I'm going to bring it in.

Trade it in on a S63 with the 5.5 turbo!! Can't wait to see the c version!!!

 

Actually, I think only the engine is built at the AMG facility and the rest of the car rolls of the production line just like any other C-Class. For those labeled to get the AMG treatment, they leave certain things out, such as, the engine, brakes, suspension, etc.... all common parts with the regular C-Class get installed at the same time.
