Comfort Mode: Does it tame the Beast?

Does it help any on rainy days? I know it starts in 2nd gear, as long as you dont floor it, which would make you think it has less torque, but with this torque monster who knows. Does it really help? What about the decreased shift points? How does this help? I am only asking about rainy or wet days. Do you guys even use the C/mode at all?

FWIW - I use it when its wet out. But your best friend will be tempering your right foot under any mode.

I use the C mode on the city streets (stop and go traffic). On the freeway.... "Hello S mode"

I rarely use C-mode, and that too when traffic conditions are intolerably horrible. As for rainy days, I honestly feel I have a better grip in Sport mode. Maybe it's psychological, but I'm sure someone here has enough knowledge to explain..

C mode dosent reduce torque, it has less aggressive shift points compared to s mode. And is most suitable for city driving IMO.

Actually, since you start off in 2nd, you are reducing the amount of torque applied to the wet pavement by the tires when you apply the throttle.

Also since the shift points are less aggressive, that reduces torque to the pavement as well while accelerating and moving to a higher gear quicker.
