It's easy...
1. You can reach them by hand after opening the hood
2. Unscrew the light bulb/connector.
3. Pop out old reflector.
4. Connect new reflector w/ light bulb...
5. Pop in new reflector.

I didn't have a clue before I did mine, but once the hood was up...was easy to figure out.

.
For those that have the Evosport side markers and have white or metallic paint, how is the color match? Even from the factory, you may have several variations of the same color. When you go to a bodyshop, you will see see a color book with the variations and sometimes the painter even makes his own spray-out panels from tinting the color for a better match.

I bought my lenses from evosport and i regret having spent that amount of money. I had to wait about a month for them to freakin paint the reflectors and ship them to me. On top of that, the lenses are not even fully blacked out! You can still a see a tiny bit of light in the left lens... Anyone wanting to do this, have a body shop paint your stock reflectors for much much less....

In fairness to Evosport, even the bodyshop refinishing will let some light show thru.

To add some darkness, you can pick up a can of engine enamel and mask / spray the bulbs to drop the light output

As far as installation, the first one took me like an hour to do, the 2nd one took me literally likely 2 minutes.

I know I'm bumping a super old thread, but did you guy have problem reaching for the driver side reflectors? It seems like it's almost impossible to reach.

It's definitely a stretch to reach that one. Make sure you do the other side first and know what you need to grab / squeeze, so you can do it without looking.

can't you just spray paint the bulb black so no light shines through?

i'm assuming removing the bulb will cause an error message.

^^yeah or even use black electrical tape on the bulb?
Is tape an option or will it melt--I know it sounds ghetto, but I thought I read this somewhere.

Does anyone get $h!t for this at inspection time or cops give you trouble?
I really want to do this, but I don't want to deal with it every year at inspection--I'm already rolling with no front plate (got pulled for it the other day--BS)

I used high temp spray paint (available at any auto parts store). No error / no light. No inspections in CO, so I can't comment on that. But the cops that I've interacted with either don't know or don't care about blacked out reflectors.
