It's a generic turbo v-stack that you can get from ebay. It will take lots of chopping to make it work, but it works well, once you have it nailed down. I've documented the chops that I made on mine somewhere in this thread.

Wish I would have seen this 2 months ago lol.

seems like the MAP sensor is the problem.
Bought 0261230191 which didn’t say if it fit my car or not but it’s the same plug and fits.

hooked it up and car wouldn’t stay running, unplugged it and it started right up. Plugged it back in and the car ran better than ever. Went for a drive when I restarted it car went straight to limp mode. Cut it off and on and it ran fine but high rpm.
Unplugged the batt over night drove it to work this morning no issues.

Going to try 0261230189, which comes up as the correct part for the car.

08 cls 63 if I never said that.

Right,. if you use the correct throttlebody there is no pin swap.

we sell these throttlebodies for $350, But we also warranty them for 18 months.

If someone wanted to provide an STL file we can print Velocity stacks for them.

That build is crazy. He’s actually got it rigged to use only two actual throttle body assemblies to open 8 flaps. Totally mental.

wow ITB"s on the C63. but is this truly an ITB setup?

Cant imagine how much "quicker" the throttle response will feel compared to the dual 82's. I mean driving with the Renntech TB's on Comfort mode, has the same throttle response as i had prior to the TB install on sport mode.

from my personal experiences of ITB's on past vehicles...you gain LOTS of midrange and part throttle power. what throttle response you gain, if tuned will literally let you accelerate with much less throttle % than with a manifold setup due to the additional amounts of airflow without restriction.

Interesting subject, once everyone agrees on which throttle body is the best direct replacement upgrade someone should create a 3d printed stack for them.

IF we get 10 members that will pre order CF/Nylon Velocity stacks i will make them. $170 a pair (Estimate 28hrs per print, That means it will be 2 weeks to print them once the design is done)

Most likely I'm in just need to know what the whole subject reality is on this throttle body subject, and which way to go. Meaning, it seems everyone is using different throttle bodies also it looks like you have cnc'd an alum lower mount (which looks great btw). But what is ideal setup for basic bolt-on for best performance/driveability and is ECU tuning required?

I'm in and have your plate as long as they are like factory and clip into place.

I'm also using mercedes 82mm throttle bodies. No need to do any modifications to mb throttle bodies and never had any single pending codes related to them.

I'd likely be in for a set as long as they'll fit the 85mm setup.....( running E85 and 550cc injectors so suspect I need more )

Weve finished the CAD drawings, Next we ill print them, And then we will mold them. the 3d material is not suitable for inside the intake manifold.

Plates and throttlebody kits are on sale right now for labor day!

Great time to grab a setup!
