Wow, sure does add up fast. That p31 package seems so worth it for only 6K.

Congrats, I'm jealous.

These cars are getting insanely expensive...that doesn't even include sales tax. You seriously have to pay for heated seats and the lighting package??? For the price of the P31 you could LTs and a tune...ridiculous..

yeah it sure does add up quick--luckily I got my CLK for trade, so I'll save some on sales tax.
I plan to keep this car for a long time 5+ years so I guess I look at it as teh price of admission

I know I could have done aftermarket tune, lsd, etc. but I just feel better to have it all done at the factory and put together once and done.
I generally don't fuss with my cars too much, aside from minor cosmetics.

This car will be my weekend/family car and late afternoons in good weather.

I'm already thnking about getting something crazy like a convertible hot rod in a couple years (I'm thinking lots of chrome, silver paint and white ghost flames and of course a lot of HP), just a thought right now--first my wallet has to recover from this hit!

Thanks for the kind words!

Congrats!!! amazing car.

Question, you got "201 AMG Prem leather n/c" and then "318 AMG Leather Pkg $3090"... whats the AMG leather package adding then?

Given so many of the things which are standard on Australia C63's are optional on American C63's, what the hell is a base C63 like?

If the leather and HID's and stuff are optional, sounds like the base C63 would just really suck.

I believe the 318 adds the full leather seats, memory seats, etc, etc--most all C63 come with this option in the US--there have been pics on here w/o the leather pkg and it looks like some type of cloth in the centers--I could be wrong, I'm not 100% sure, but I know the car is going to have the nicest interior available in the US (too bad no leather dash option here)

yeah, not too many base C63s available in the US, most will MSRP in the high $60s--I had to add the little extras that make it more "unique" and just the way I wanted it--I can't wait
