These cars are getting insanely expensive...that doesn't even include sales tax. You seriously have to pay for heated seats and the lighting package??? For the price of the P31 you could LTs and a tune...ridiculous..

yeah it sure does add up quick--luckily I got my CLK for trade, so I'll save some on sales tax.
I plan to keep this car for a long time 5+ years so I guess I look at it as teh price of admission![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I know I could have done aftermarket tune, lsd, etc. but I just feel better to have it all done at the factory and put together once and done.
I generally don't fuss with my cars too much, aside from minor cosmetics.
This car will be my weekend/family car and late afternoons in good weather.
I'm already thnking about getting something crazy like a convertible hot rod in a couple years (I'm thinking lots of chrome, silver paint and white ghost flames and of course a lot of HP), just a thought right now--first my wallet has to recover from this hit!![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Thanks for the kind words!

2011 Ultima GTR
Given so many of the things which are standard on Australia C63's are optional on American C63's, what the hell is a base C63 like?
If the leather and HID's and stuff are optional, sounds like the base C63 would just really suck.

yeah, not too many base C63s available in the US, most will MSRP in the high $60s--I had to add the little extras that make it more "unique" and just the way I wanted it--I can't wait
