Another purge valve problem. A few others on this board including
myself had a CEL for a stuck purge valve.

I don't have a CEL, but I have an annoying click. The dealer told me this was standard operation. Anyone else's 06 C55 click?

Can you elaborate fon the purge valve? what is the purge valve ?

propain thanks for the info that there are no current updates! i wondered why we dont have a sticky for software updates on this forum.... or is that a crazy idea?

I agree.

When I brought her in I asked them to reset the ECU and TCU back to factory. This damn warm weather has turned my beast into a slug. I also dont have a tune done yet.

Do you or anyone else know a way to reset the TCU or ECU? My tranny is shifting like a dog these days. The dealer says no errors on the computer.

there is some little trick you can do but i dont remember it. never done it but some swear by it. search around. sorry i cant help more. are you a member on MB private lounge? you might find it there as well. i was reading about the evosport tune today. never really interested me till my buddy bought a viper!!! ha ha

I had CEL light in the first day I drove her home. They said Purge Valve also then they said loose gas cap???? CEL all the way home. Fa la la la la...

What the hell is a purge valve...has to do with Fuel Flow or Filter?
