Spoke with my source. Currently 5K cash back.

As of now there is no 10K in trunk money. But that could change.

no orders for 2010, you're few months too late--only 2011 orders and open your wallet because the prices went up slightly and no deals to speak of--mine is due in a month and I ordered it a couple months ago now.

Good luck--buy a 2010 off the lot if you're not picky--they're not flying off the lot!

Im scheduled to replace my 09 (2yrs old) with a 2010 on Monday. Any suggestions on what to push for in terms of the discount. Its hard to factor it all in, because I am turning in my 09 with 41,000 miles. They have offered me a zero cost replacement (no increase or decrease). Thoughts?

First off, you need to define "zero cost replacement." Regardless, my initial thought is that the replacement you're about to take delivery of will have a cost and it will not be zero. Mark my words.

How many is a few? It'd have to be a bunch to offset $10K.

I just bought (last week) a new 2010 with a $78.8K sticker for $66.4K. I am sure I could have gotten more, but I am busy and wanted the car (because it had P31, LSD, and all the right options for me). I would say this supports the existence of significant dealer cash. Just my $0.02.

I just picked up a 2010 C63 with 10k off as I stated before. I promised my dealer that I would not mention the actual number to anyone but I can assure you that good deals are out there to be had.

In addition, I saw the memo from mbusa to the dealer (and surely to dealers across the nation) and it said 10k off for 2010 C63, ML63, CLS63 and 15k off for E63.

Like I said before, this deal exists but how you get it may depend on your relationship with your dealer.

Hope this info is helpful to mbworld friends

Let me guess... 57,6XX.

Its a good deal indeed. Pretty much what my guy offered me for a new 63. I told him I would wait till Aug. Should see about 5K more off and then its decision time. New 63 or something else...

Landrun64, did you happen to catch the color of the cars with the 15K sticker off? I think it is time for me to pull the triger. If the color is Palladium or Iridium I am driving to Southern California this coming Friday. LOL.

Yes
Guys - use the out of state deals to your advantage. Thats exactly what I did.

"A dealer in DC is offering me Steel Grey/Black loaded for $54k - if you guys can beat it, I would prefer to buy from you since you're local..."

If they are worth their salt they will do a quick check, see where the steel/gray on black in DC is located (ie what dealer), know youre serious, and get on with the negotiating...

hey sorry for the delay in replying. i don't remember. one was black i think and the other was maybe a medium (not iridium style) silver (i'm ignorant of the color names these days since i defected to BMW for my last car there was one outside and one inside.

i suspect all of their c63's are 15k off.

Guys, here is another money saving option for those of you with USAA Insurance: Contact your Dealer for another $1500 off the price of your C63, or go to USAA website under Car Buying Services.

I am purchasing one as I type.

Unfortunately, the deal is not as simple as you are stating. Yes, you got the deal you are referring to, but there is NO $10k trunk money on the C63. I cannot specify anymore b/c it is MBF specific, but not every dealer will be able to do this

It is based on a step program and the dealership must have sold I believe 3 amg's within the month. So not all dealers will have this availability from what I understand. But it is out there because I was contacted by a dealer who offered it to me... They are a very strong AMG store BTW....

+1. Thats exactly right. The dealership needs to fill a selling quota for amg cars before they can offer those incentives.
