2011 C63 P31
Just got a 2010 White with Sahara interior (P2, MM, AMG Leather, Camera, Keyless, Side airbags) for $16k off MSRP. I won't have the car until next weekend as I need to go out of state to pick it up.

A big thank you to OP and everyone in this forum who contributed.

So can you still get a punched 2010 c63 for $15K+ off?
I talked to a few dealers and the best I could get was $10K off.

P.S. I am already getting a 2009 c63 CPO (18K, all options except CF trim) for $50K, but still wanted to give 2010 a shot.

@andrey_clk55: Interesting offer. Seems like they should be able to go lower, as I've looked around the US and can get a 2011 with $10K off a $69K C63 AMG. I do realize it is basically a zero mile car with some limited spirited test drives but it just doesn't seem logical given what's available for a brand new 2011. $52K-53K seems more like it and even that depends on the packages...

Lots of C63's in CA, NY, and TX.

<personal rant>Why do 90% of the car dealers that publish their car deals to the web not disclose the packages? (MM, P02, Lighting, etc). I don't mind giving salesfolk a call, but would allow me to be more efficient and be ready sooner for the "GO" button instead of back and forth BS in learning about the car.</personal rant>

Good afternoon.
new to this forum. i've been looking for a car for sometime now.
i heard 15k off on 10 C63 model.
i looked cars.com and there are four units around my area(LA and OC area) actually three. There is one w/ ~120 miles on odometer. That’s basically a demo car and like some say, that’s as good as used. So there are three.

one thing i want to ask you guys is, how do you start a conversation? go to a dealer and say "i want this car and 16k off?" i need your expertise folks. Please help poor man to become AMG family member~!!!

p.s. MSRP shows $77k. what option does it have? I just can’t wait til the dealer gets back to me. It may have P31. not sure…

I think you might be talking about the car in downtown LA. It has P30, not P31.

The best they can do is 12K after many hours of negotiation. I wouldn't waste my time there again.

If the car is what you want, I would jump on it for 12K off.

imho, 2011 can be hand for roughly 10% off (7K). I am not sure if it's worth it to get 2010 for another 5K off.

Thank you badu.

i agree with you. for 5k difference, 2010 is not worth going for.

Thank you Dr_jitsu for your opinion.
yes i want the car and the DEAL!
everyone knows that the dealer had trunk cash (10k) and only 2k off on 2010 model, i am not so sure... it has very low mile. i give some points for that but it's still 2010. in less than 2 months, it's going to be one year old. believe it or not.

anyway, since i send them an email, we'll see how they respond~!

In my case I only got 11K off...but it was the color and equipment I wanted....more importantly it was local and they gave me a good trade in on a car that had given me endless grief.

Getting 15K off on a car from out of town would not have been a better deal in my case since the car I was trading in (A Porsche Cayenne TT) broke down again on the way to the dealer to close the deal!

wow~ i feel ya.
yes i guess it depends on other things as well. if you got great deal on your trade-in, that's good too. =)

luckly, i do not have a trade-in so one less problem to deal with. lol

i'll keep you guys updated!

Quick question guys~!

how do you know if the dealer "punched in" for a particular vehicle? i remember someone saying 'check the contract' or 'check the VIN'. if i know the VIN, where can i check that status?
Thank you in advance.

P.S. test drove one today. WOW. what an experience!!!! can't compare to any vehicles that i drove so far. maybe little similar to 335d. but wow. i am impressed!

So I have been talking to Dealers local and they are saying that the 10K trunk money ended last month, and the few remaining 2010s only getting at $7K discount at the most. So it looks like MBUSA has taken it away.

Can anyone confirm this?

I think so.
i just talked to a dealer and he said "no more 2010 incentives"
so he said i'd be better off getting 2011.

but the thing is, he didn't have 2010 model so maybe he's just saying it to get me into 2011 model.

i am not sure where you live but there was one post mentioned abuot 2010 in downtown LA. he negotiated it down to 12k and that was the max he could do.

i may visit the dealer tho. in less than 50 days, it's going to be one year old car. no matter what.

No offense here, but if you live in San Gabriel (Chan ), go check out Penske in West Covina. They have an '10 Gray C63, MSRP $77k NO P31, but camera, Command, Leather, etc. The sales guy faxed me the MBUSA Nov 2010 Incentive sheet and there is $2500 for the 2010 C63. Not what I was looking for but thought I'd pass it on.

Thank you Frank Rizzo for the information.
i guess it has everything but P31. haha
i learned a few things while i was talking to a dealer.

if a vehicle is punched, cars.COM won't find it since from their system, it's already purchased (paid in full / receive the incentive from MB)
when you purchase it (on the contract) it will still show as a "NEW". howver, the warranty is already started when the car is "punched in"

so back to my original topic, when i searched cars.com, there are only a few (PCH and downtown LA) ones are showed. so i assume they are
not puched.

on the other hand, West Covina MB, wasn't show on cars.com. and i assume it's punched already. so that means the min you'd get for that car is $10k + 2500.

it's all theory. please correct me if i am wrong. but def. i'll visit West covina. not a fan of Steel gray but i'd take any color over "good deal"

After some seat time in this car, I reiterate, take the 12K if you can still get it.

Car sales overall are up and the deals of the last 2 years are unlikely to happen again.

Uclachan, I don't know if you are looking for a particular package but there is a '10 Black/Black near your area. MSRP is $69,185. It's got P2, Multimedia Package, AMG Leather Package and Keyless Go. MB of South Bay is the dealer. This is where I got my C63 back in July. You should give them a call and see if you can get a good deal; doesn't hurt to try. This dealer was part of the 10K trunk money program. They have quite a few '11 C63s in the lot so your chances of getting a deal are greater.

As Dr_jitsu says, 12K off MSRP is great and if it is for an '11 C63 even better. Good luck in your search.

Thank you Dr.jitsu and TheRoadMaster76. i went to Downtown LA motors. they gave me 10.5 off without talking (well i'd say about an hour)
please don't throw rocks at me. but here is my thoughts.
if MB) threw "Trunk money" approx. 10k last month or couple months ago, i'd like to see that deal better or at least the same.
i talked to couple of dealers for 2011 and they are willing to go for invoice +/- couple hundreds. in my opinion (once again, my opinion so please don't hate me...) 5G is not worth going for a year old model. what do you think guys? am i too cheap or reasonable?

a note. i was ready to purchase when i walked in to Downtown LA motor (i broguth my check. last time i forgot to bring it) but even w/ my checkbook, they wouldn't go for 12k. the car had 52 miles on the odometer

oh well. they have to make money on 2010 models. wish me luck. i think i really need it.
oh. Thank you TheRoadMaster76 on South Bay 2010 C63. i went and saw it in the showroom. i talked to one of the sales lady. i send her an email w/ my offer. she didn't even respond. no email. nada. an email with "no we can't do" or "let's work it out"email.. just no email. i am not sure if she's just too busy or thinks that i am playing with. i don't know. but at least an email would be nice you know. anyway, before i made her an offer, we did set up an appointment. i'll go and see if she shows up. if i don't get 2010 C63, it's not the end of the world. i can wait til 2011 July. Thank you guys. hope i can be a true member of C63. i feel like i am already one. many forum members tried to help me out. even if i am a prospective member., i really appreciated it. hope i can buy this one. we'll see.!!! Blank I want.

if i get one tonite, i'll def. take some pics and upload them.

Thank you Frank Rizzo,

i went and looked. internet sales manager and her assistance contacted me. i emailed back to her w/ my offer. no words from them. maybe i scare them off. but at least if they are in a business, they should write me an email saying "can't do" or "work on it" sort or email. very disappointed w/ internet sales department. anyway, great looking car. @_@

if i didn't know about the trunk money, i'd purchased it already w/ 10k off.

Sorry to hear that, but don't give up just yet! Keep looking without getting too atached to a car. You never know when things will work out. Try out of state dealers. I went through a few ups and downs before I got my car a couple of months ago.

Cars.com does not have all the cars that may be available I found a couple of cars for around $14k off in San Francisco by calling every dealer in that area (found them by searching on google). They may still be available.

Thank you vmx128.
like you said, "getting too attached to a car" is kinda hard to do since i test drove a car. XD but yes i totally understand. i kinda learn that lesson when i purchased M3. i never tried out of state dealers. i guess it's about time to do micro-search. i'll keep you update as well. if i find a good deal, i'll def. post up~!!!
enjoy your weekends vmx128

Sorry.
The guy from Pesnke West Covina is the one who showed me the November 2010 incentive sheet and the C63 has $2,500 plus another $1,000 if you are an owner of a competitor's luxury car like a BMW or Lexus. I think this means that anything less than $3,500 below invoice is a gift, unless the dealer punched the car and pocketed the $10k and wants to throw it in - but you will never know unless they offer the cash as part of the deal.

I have a 2008 VW R32 and it was kind of the same deal. in '08 They threw $3000 in the trunk in July and August and after that it went down to $1k and went away all together. What ever cars were left were on their own to get sold.

I'm in the same boat as you. I think I'll wait until next year. I will probably order one because I want weird stuff like Capri blue, cloth seats, no Nav and limited slip...
