Interesting call from dealer
I got a message from the dealer I leased my 09 C63 from.
They have buyers who want an 09 C63 and the dealer says they are willing to buy out my lease early, put me in a new C63 for no money out of my pocket and they say they can lower my monthly payment.
What do yo guys make of that?
I have not heard anything definitive, do you think the "new" car they are going to put me is with the new motor?

C class won't receive the new 5.5tt for a while; it will most likely be the the same m156 6.2 v8. IIRC the CL (S coupe) will be the first to receive the new engine, but that's in 2011 or 2012. The S class will follow suit in the next year, then the other models so on...
But damn, that sounds like a good deal you're getting?

this same thing happened to another member, with the dealer saying basically the same thing.
I think they can offer this "deal" because of the trunk money, which still makes it a money-maker for the dealership.

yeah, i got practically the same offer. just work the numbers and make a deal on the price to make it worth it. they originally offered me the same exact car almost. same options... there wasn't really an incentive except for warranty starting over, no more accident history, and bypassing my B0 service... have them look for other cars with the new options you want... they might say no at first, but keep at it and they'll have to look for the car you want even if it's not in their inventory. make them call around... they're trying to make a sale after all...
good luck

Just check to make sure your lease term is the same along with the mileage and run yourself over to the deal and get the car.
They most likely don't want 2010's sitting around until the end of the summer and they can offload your 09 at auction.

Just to update, my dealer came by my house with a palladium silver '10 C63 and drove away with my iridium silver '09.
No money out of my pocket, my lease payments dropped about 10 bucks a month (not a big deal) and the lease details are the same (39 months 12K a year).
The '10 is not much different, but I like the live traffic on the nav and the tire pressure that actually shows the pressure. the side mirrors are shaped differently and while they look cool I don't think they are as functional. Instead of OE Pirellis the tires are Continentals. They can't last any less time then the Pirellis I figure. IMHO I like the palladium silver better. Its the color I originally wanted. Oh and the interior wood is black instead of brown.
I think thats it. Not really saving me much money, but I love the car and extending the lease is fine by me. Also I was about due for my 20K service and the front tires only had maybe 25% left, the rears maybe 50% so there is some money saved.
