The Best of Mercedes & AMG

The C class AMG just about always had a better straight line sprint than the M3, so there's no argument here. All generations of the C AMG always had comfort as an advantage, at least in terms of suspension, but as a cost loses out in cornering to the m3; every single time. The c63 is still 5.41s slower than the e90 m3 in Nurburgring, so nothing has changed there either. The m3 has always outperformed the C in all generations.
I feel that the C AMG was always the better cruiser, but it has never dethroned the M3 of anything yet, afaik.

Some of this is repeated from your post, thepinoc, but here we go (with the assumption of stock vehicles):
1. Straight line - not to mention torque.
2. Exhaust note - no explanation needed.
3. Comfort - most stock versions of this will see minimal track time, so ok, depending on the track, the C63 comes in a close second, but I think the better ride garners more appreciation in the typical DD scenario.
4. Luxury - I've sat in a brand-spankin-new M3, and while it was nice, I'd rather have (and in fact do, based on that test drive) my Mercedes Benz any day.
5. Exclusivity - I believe, correct me if I'm wrong here, that there are significantly more M3s zipping around than C63s. Not a deal breaker for me, but there is something to be said for it.
6. Did I mention torque?
7. Torque.
8. Long distance comfort - tough to beat a Merc here, C class or not.
Obviously, the M3 (annoyingly) wins in some categories - aftermarket options / much better technology / etc., but DAMN, I love my Mercedes Benz.

You have two of the cars on my wish list lol. The raptor and c63. Now if you if you had a 911 turbo to boot I may just turn into solid jade as a result.
I had an 01 M3 and a 01 CLK55. While I would have to give the nod to the M3 over all. Both were great cars. But with the new power advantage the C63 has, its a no brainer. I don't road course but I do drag race from time to time.
C63 FTW
Cannot wait to see the twin turbo 5.5L
