Offered a C63 Lease...Good deal?

I was at my local MB dealer looking at a new S-Class, and the sales guy emailed me today with a cool option. He said they have some left over C63's and can do the same lease as the S-Class (3 years, 15k miles, just fee's down, etc) for $934/month. That seems low, right? I've priced out these cars before on lease and they are always well over $1k/month.

Good deal?

You went to the dealer to look at the S-Class...and now you're interested in the C-Class C63...a car 1/2 the size of the S-Class...and that interests you? I'm surprised.

The lease offer sounds interesting but I'd get more info. $900+/mo sounds right depending upon the details.

I'm in NJ. Fees only down ($3k or so), 15k miles/year...3 year lease. $994/month (just looked at the email again).

Sounds like a good deal to me. Or you could pick up my black series for $1600/month.

Sorry for the plug.

that's the special going on the C63's. surprised though that you were able to get an S-class around that payment. most are still in the middle-upper's teens ($1500+/mo)

I can't get an S-Class for $1k/month. My quote from the dealer was $1600/month for the S-Class and $994/month for the C63.

I think it is a good deal. I'm going to do a test drive tomorrow.

Thanks!

I'm sure someone can post the numbers, but when they first came out the residuals were probably a lot better. The dealer incentive probably needs to be applied to the net capitalized cost in order to get the payments down to that level again. Just a guess, I don't have the numbers in front of me.

If they in fact made that deal, then the dealer did not make any money at all. The special right now is $1299/mo, with $4400 down, doesnt include your tax, title, fee's, acquisition fee or 1st payment. Just find it hard to believe they could get it down that low on a P2 sport car that was probably $98k...not saying it didnt happen, just hard to believe.

There is a little better deal on the S400, but who wants a Hybrid S-class ?
