Evosport Announces Brembo GT-R Brakes for 63 AMG

More exciting news in the world of stopping power from Evosport. Working close with Brembo/Race Technologies, Evosport was the first to release the Brembo GT Brake kit for the ML63 AMG, the first to release the Brembo GT kit for the CLK63 Black Series, and now we are very excited to release the very first and exclusive Brembo GT-R Brake Kit for the CLK63 Black Series!

These just arrived today for our very lucky Black Series client. The first ever kit for this vehicle. The GT-R kit is available for a very select number of vehicles and for those drivers who demand exceptional stopping performance for street and track. The GT-R calipers are machined entirely from billet and provide much of the benefits of the Brembo RACE System: more stiffness (less caliper flex), lighter weight, and greater thermo-mechanical resistance. The nickel plate finish on the caliper not only provides a very unique look, but is also a treatment against corrosion. Pistons with stainless-steel inserts provide an additional heat barrier to help mitigate brake fade. A number of pad options are available for this application.

The GT-R kit for the CLK63 Black Series includes front 6-piston monobloc calipers with 380mm/15" 2-piece floating rotors and rear 4-piston monobloc calipers with 345mm/13.6" rotors. Rotors are available in drilled or slotted.

GT-R Brake Kit also available for other select Mercedes-Benz 63 AMG vehicles.

Please contact Evosport direct or any one of our worldwide dealers for more information.

WOW, almost double the price on what i paid for the ROTORA big break kit on my Escalade. I really don't think its worth it unless you have a true dedicated track car.

1. its CNC caliper so its a lot lighter in weight.
2. the pistons inside the calipers are also lightweight and without rubber rings inside so the pedal feel should be more direct.
3. on the pistons its also drilled to quickly release heat.

Not sure if those are limited productions or a one off for that client but if they are i'm not surprised at the price. My guess is around $12-15k per set (F&R).
