how about i was going to order c63 with 86k euro then i cancel it because of the new engine will drop after 6 mounths here is the following options:

'10 G55, Challenge Stradale, 997.1 GT3, E63 Wagon
Someone in another thread mentioned there were currently several MY10's available with P31 and Limited Slip. My dealer checked nationwide and came up empty handed. Anyone know of any?

Well looking at what the rest of the world pays, as compared to what we pay (Americans) we have it made. So I will no longer complain about paying $57k for my C63. We have it good here is the States. I couldn't see spending over $100K for a C63. My E63 was $108k back in 2007, and I was complaining about that price. We are definitely spoiled here!

When I ordered my car in November '08 (in Canada), the only options were:
- Premium Package, about $5k
- Performance Package (LSD was not stand alone), around $6k
- CF Trim, $2.5k
- Back-up Camera around $500
Base was $62,500.. couldn't really go above $77k
Other than the extra charge for some paint colours and accessories.. that was pretty much it.

That makes me wish for business models that go with the GT-R and the CLK63 Black Series, where they come with every single option and you never have to go looking for what you want as far as options, all you worry about is color. Makes life much simpler. And (if they were so inclined), the cost of manufacturing is slightly reduced thanks to the time and money wasted retooling and managing a production line with different options/trims.
Right now if you want a GT-R, all you have to look at is color, you don't even have to ask about options. The Black Series I just bought was the same, no worrying about options, just color and milage.

Very true, and since most car in the US are not build to order, a limited static configuration make sense. Just look at McDonalds and their initial theory on fast food by limiting choice!
