C63 AMG Arctic w/ Stage 1 Tune, DoubleXX pipe, MCD-631X coming soon
MCD-631 Main cat delete pipes almost done..Sneak

We are almost done with the main cat delete test pipes. There were a lot of challenges, but I think we got past them. This will mate to the stock 2nd cats, or to our Single X or Double XX pipes. They will also have CNC folded brackets to bolt up to the factory undercarriage bracketry.

Do we have enough interest for a Group Buy? I would need 10 people.

Any gains on this or is it just mainly for sound improvement?

We will be testing for actual gains, but I'm hopeful that we can get 20-30hp.

I hope this is more promising than the results Superlubricity obtained with his setup. Please let us know the dyno results soon!

I'm definitely interested...depending on "bang" and "buck".

I look forward to both answers

Cant wait to hear this and the gain also. I have X-Pipe of GT Pro so if everything looks good then I have to think about this also.

I believe Brian will not let that fiasco happen again. Plus, he swtiched vendors and hopefully will QC all items before shipping. Hard lesson learned for him and sorry you were there for it.

I wonder if he is allowed to post. His status shows as "Former Vendor of MBWorld."

I do not believe he is allowed to post anymore under GT-Pro. His Xpipe and downpipe is cheaper than Fluid so that is a good thing but Super tested downpipe and showed no gain. He did not have X-pipe and people have shown a minimal gain with Xpipe. I am very tempted to try the setup.

They (mods/admins at MBW) actually just added that status fairly recently.

It used to be, that vendors would show as "Banned" if they chose to not renew their vendor status and pay the corresponding fees. So, there was no way to know if "Banned" was from scamming people, inappropriate behavior, or other issues - or simply just that the firm chose to not renew and maintain their vendor status on MBW.

That would make it competitive with Fluid MotorUnion in pricing, but not in actual product since they are using 3" pipes. I'm surprised Brian hasn't hooked someone up with a set to see if there are any gains to be had. I do like the minimum amount of tubing to be welded and inclusion of the OEM mount brackets as comapred to FMU's unit.

I spoke with C63 Guy over the weekend to pick his brains about DPs. Super was brought up since he had DPs fabricated that didn't show any gains. C63 Guy said that you need to have an X-pipe in conjunction with DPs to show gains and his current setup, sans LTs, is a DP with X-pipe. We also discussed the offerings from Fluid MotorUnion and GT-Pro.
