Thanks Bud.
Took a few laps of breathing in the race fuel exhaust but I think I finally wore him down.... We spoke later and he was quite complimentary!!
Hope to see you
I would think you would want to test the 135 upgrades...no?? Hope to see you Sept 8th.
Thanks Hiro.
RE-11's Sizes in my sig.... Have another set on standby.
Glad to be of service...
Glad you noticed that...LOL I did feel a little gassy on the drive home.
I do like the GoPro camera. Highly recommend it. Best in class!!

Hey North, great vids as always my friend
That first Porsche was a rookie, wasn't he I wouldn't have thought that they can pull you that hard in the straights. Was he stock or chipped?
Anyway, great use of the whole track if you catch my drift.
I really miss that place, as I haven't been there now in over 10 years. No come to think about its been 11 now

Drift...good one. Glad to see you still have your sense of humour.

Nice driving Barry! I wish I could go to Mosport more often but it's so damn far lol
Was the first porsche a Carrera 4S? I raced against a couple at calabogie and was pulling them (easily) on straights. Was not impressed by their top end. The one you were after seemed fast! Maybe modded.

Yeah I hear you. I have had such a busy summer and gone in September, I'll be driving again in October, also much easier on the brakes with the cool weather. take care!

Awesome video!! I was told by a racer that on the turn under the contential sign, u should keep it way right and then turn after u pass the bridge! It feels a bit scary, but gives u a better drive for the next turn.
But very cool.

"This blind left hander is the fastest turn on the track. Only the best drivers can do this turn without lifting.
Start the turn from 2/3 of the way across the track - not the far right hand side. Make sure the car is settled into the turn as you pass under the bridge. Don't let the car drift out to the right, as the pavement is off camber, and cars have a tendancy to get sucked off to the right.
If you time the corner right, you exit the corner on the left side of the track, heading parallel to the left edge of the track. Keep your foot in it until you reach the bottom of the Hill at Moss' corner.
Get to full throttle as quickly as possible while trying to get the car back to the left for the entrance to 5A."
Thats scary!! Especially in a 4,000 + Lb sedan. No offence but staying way right in turn 4 is a fast trip into the weeds....then tires...if you stay on the gas.
Later./

It is a great track. My favorite for sure. Best verified this year was 1:39 but I had a few at 1:36+ on my "Laptimer Pro" but I am skeptical and no video (dead battery) to verify.

I know Gerry B from Pfaff Tuning / Apex very well. They do hold a great event. there is one on MondayAug 9th i think....
I just find I get more laps with a better crew with 6th gear. I did over 80 laps on Wednesday. Might do 40 with APEX

North, are you running the re11's on the street also? How are they in the wet.
Looking for new rears soon. I guess I will stay with the p0 until my fronts give up. Running what's left on a track day on the 15th.

Yes, I am on the RE-11's full time. They did get a bit noisy after the first track day but they are one of the best (if not the best) all around DD + Track tire I have ever used. I have another set ready for when these go away.
