FYI - PLM possibly looking for sponsor car for their shorty headers
Not sure if this is still valid or not, but saw that PLM was looking for 5.5/6.3 cars to act as sponsor calls to promote their shorty headers. If interested and they are still looking email addy is sales@privatelabelmfg.com They list for $4K and described as below:
PLM HEADERS
We're very excited to introduce our line of AMG model headers to the general public. Every PLM Mercedes manifold is stainless steel, as we do not use mild steel on any of our products. All of the flanges are CNC machined stainless flanges. Each header is hand made, and mandrel-bent tubing, hand TIG welded, which offers the highest quality header to our customers while offering competitive prices. All of our Mercedes headers offer a limited LIFETIME warranty to the original owner/purchaser.
PLM headers for AMG model cars offer true bolt-on installation, with not cutting or welding required, mounting directly to the OEM down pipe. Each header is designed using CAD program and many hours on dyno and road testing to ensure performance gain. Our headers deliver average gains of 20 hp or more and over 25 lb-ft of torque across the rpm range.
