Dallas Owners - I'll be in town next week!
I wanted to give all of the Dallas owners a heads up that I will be in town next week and can meet up with you if needed. I didn't post last time I was there and now I know I should have! Sorry I missed a few of you.
Right now, our pricing is $649 for the C63 flash. I'll be willing to stay an extra day to do some tuning, but I need to know ahead of time so I can make the proper hotel arrangements.
PM me for details on my location, etc.
Thanks!
Jerry

I have been eyeing this charge and am located in Dallas as well. Please let me know the next time you want to make a trip. Otherwise I could take a weekend and visit some friends in H town.

i'm sure if enough of us from dallas are ready to get a tune, he'll come to dallas.
i'll keep you guys posted since i've been emailing jerry back and forth...

I was wondering the same as well. I just bought my car 2 weeks ago and only has 900 miles on it. I'm wondering if anyone has a modded C63 in Dallas and has a friendly relationship with their service advisor that can let some mods slide. If so, please PM me and tell me who and what dealership.
Also, what if the dealership does an update on the car software? Yea, sure you could tell them don't mess with the ECU, but all that does is raise a red flag.
Why not create a hand-held OBDII type flasher that we can flash and flash back to stock at the touch of a button? BMW tuners have done that for years.
This is my first Benz so I'm a bit hesitant to roast my warranty with 3 years left even.

if you do a little searching on this forum, you'll find that you're not the only one who was worried about their warranty.
you'll also learn that it won't void your entire warranty... they can refuse to cover something under warranty, if they can prove the ecu tune is causing the problem.
like if your trunk doesn't close properly, they will cover it under warranty...
i had no problems getting certain things covered by warranty when i had my tune. i told the service advisor straight up and didn't worry about it. he would be a big note on the service form DO NOT UPDATE ECU. DO NOT UPDATE ECU.
you can PM me if you want the info on my service advisor and dealership

I wanted to get the S55 tuned and the McLaren SLR. Let me know if you guys have something for the SLR!?
As for a date, it would be great if you could do it at the end of the month... 10/29 or 10/30 would be perfect.
