What's the diff? 2009 C63 and 2010 C63...
I'm looking at two, an 09 with low miles and a 2010 with more miles (twice the 09), on the clock... Is there any substantial difference between the two? Thanks for any input - it appreciated... Mark

I know that they changed out the mirror housing, the 08-09 had a clear turn signal indicator, at the top of the mirror housing. The seats, wheels, engine, front and rear fascia are the same. The mirrors are the only thing that comes to mind at the moment. Sorry, I couldn't provide you with a better answer, I will think on it.

2010:
New side mirror designs
Keyless go
Chrome on top of door handles
Updated ipod interface and cables
Rearview camera
Mirrors that fold on reversing
2009:
All body color door handles
Older Ipod interface (still good)
Internal memory for music
Telaid more common
Thats about it not considering the P30 or P31 packages. Someone said that the 2009 seemed to be built a bit better ( some less electrical and engine issues) and the stock engines a little louder on cold start, IDK though. Mine is crazy loud stock on cold start. Very loud growl.
They are pretty much identical. Rims, engine, body, interior, buttons, leather, spoilers, etc.

RE: iPod
If you use an iPod (which is really the only way to go if you have GBs of tracks you want to play) the 2010's iPod on main screen connectivity is huge. If music matters to you. I would be tearing my hair out without it.
2010 also has internal memory for music, but the organization problems are killer, same with using a memory card in PCMCIA.
If you have just a few tracks or albums you want to play don't worry about it.
Zephyr I think you meant Mirror that tilts on reversing.
And if you care about telematics I don't think you want to be stuck on teleaid with mBrace taking over.

Questions is right about those points,
Correct, the mirrors turn in a bit and reposition on reversing, not the whole side mirror itself, also the ipod screen menus are better and more detailed on the screen.

Early 2010s came with P30. December and later builds with P31.
The HD is 6GB in 2010 instead of 5GB in 2009.
The chrome on the door handles comes with Keyless go. If you don't have keyless go, you probably won't have chrome.

2010: the screen on the dash stays on whatever was last selected. in the '09, on every start up, it would revert back to the mileage screen.
no matter what mode you're in, C, S, or M when you turn your car off. when you start it up again, it will revert back to C. '09 stayed in S if you turned it off in S... and when turned off in M, it will revert to S.
i don't know if these changes could be done with an update on the '09.
the ESP button has changed. it has a drawing of a little car swerving. and the esp light on the dash is also the same icon.
stock tires are different i believe
trunk closing issues were taken care of in the '09s with a bumper stop. but you would still need to shut it kind of hard. '10 requires a lot less strength to close.
'10 navi has live traffic when viewing the map. you'll see little yellow cars or red cars kind of like google map. the time is also shown on the map screen now.
'10 the case for the owner's manual is smaller
'10 key is different. there is a distinct outline for the buttons. panic button is a triangle.
can't think of any more
good luck with your purchase. Drive Hard! Be Safe!!

Have an 09 and hate the iPod interface so much that I don't use it. Really comes down to the right price as optioned. GL.....

mBrace in 2010 supports Google maps, but I don't think TeleAid does.
But I believe that you can get mBrace on 2009 cars if you want it. The dealer just programs a different phone number in. My early 2010 came from factory with TeleAid, but when I had it delivered, the dealer changed it to mBrace for me. They said it was just programming, no hardware.

I am pretty sure the tires are different for 2010, Yokohamas I believe--someone correct me if I'm wrong. You definitely want some Michelin PS2s or Pirelli P-Zeros in favor of the Yokohamas that come stock, proper tires will help unlock the car's potential. Good luck with your purchase, and enjoy it!

In addition to the above mentioned don't dyno's show the 2010s as being slightly more powerful? This isn't a fact but something that was discussed in other threads that apparently 2010s show better #s.
Additionally, in an audio related thread, I believe that people mentioned there was more bass in the 2010s. I beileve the sound quality from the iPod interface was superior to that of the Sat Radio whereas people with 2009 models complained the iPod interface audio didn't provide clear/loud audio signals whereas the Sat Radio was superior...
